God says (His words, not mine) that if you are an unrepentant adulterer, you have no inheritance in God's Kingdom (1Cor6:9). If, like Amy, you don't repent, fiery judgment is inevitable (Heb10:26-27). God has many, many warnings about leading others into sin (incl. (Luke17:1-2)). We ALL will be judged by God's Word (John12:48). It is neither loving nor obedient to God to remain silent about this.

If God tells us that it is impossible to recover those who commit the sin leading to death (unforgivable sin?), and not to pray about that, why would you contradict Him?
Incidentally, plntynot, with God, there is no "ex" spouse. See (1Cor 7:10-11). Otherwise, (Mark 10:12) and (Luke 16:18) are vain.

Do you not believe in grace or redemption? Your anger and bitterness come out in all you say. I do not know if Ms. Grant has repented, I pray she does.

Pull the beam out of your own eye, so that you can see clearly you own obvious multitude of sins. Acknowledge that are a sinner, and cast out the jealousy, hatred, envy, the malice that you have shown, and show the world what a real Christian acts like. But, God is not mocked. He calls for repentance, and He describes exactly what we see among some adulterers here.

Twofry paraphrases the sole Bible quote known by most atheists (and unrepentant adulterers): judge not lest you be judged.
But, God says (John 7:24): "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
Also, (1Cor 6:3): Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
God told the woman caught in adultery to go and sin no more; He did not tell her to go on committing adultery if it felt good, made her rich and happy.

To be ignorant of God's Word and devoid of the Holy Spirit is to be spiritually blind.

Welll...back to the same verse you keep bring up about the wealthy boy not giving up his riches...he healed the blind man and he follow Jesus. With this said, he can heal those that are spiritually blind as well. It is called forgiveness and disearnment.

Sin is what separates people from God. God tells us to stop doing it.
To the adulteress, He says, Go and sin no more.
In describing hell, He says that it is so terrible, that even self mutilation would be preferable if that would keep you from sinning (Matt 5:27-30).
Well then, whether you are John Edwards, or Mark Sanford, or Tiger Woods, or Amy Grant, it would be better to cut off the adulterous affair, than to be cast into hell.
