  • Absolutely and totally Love this Guy... he and Michael Buble` are my all time new favorites!

  • I love this!! Wonderful Sachal, thank you!

  • This is really beautiful -- great voice, and a genuine, unaffected delivery. Really nice.

  • Completely Swoon-worthy!!!!!!

  • For me he's better on disc.... not enough vocal control in a live performance. Perhaps in a few years he'll improve.

Best on the planet? Try Kurt Elling please.

  • Doesn't he have the gender pronouns reversed?

  • Hands down the best voice on the planet PERIOD Just listen to the conviction and sincerity. You go Sachal, they'll catch up eventually.

  • Oh I couldn't agree more...I've been a big fan since I saw his debut video on BET JAZZ about 3yrs ago...I purchased his CD the same day it was released and I've been a fan ever since. I hope he comes to Las Vegas, because I would really love to see him perform live...this guy is just awesome...what a voice...so soothing and his band, brilliant musicians...I would really love to hear and see him and Ms. Natalie Cole do a duet together...that would be out of this world... :o)

  • fantastic singing

  • @PaulGeremia Yeah... I AM a new fan too... absolutely Love this guy, what a sexy and silk and satin voice ~ !

  • love this version... its a heartbreaking song.i've been there know what ur going through!!!!!

  • "Vasandani favors control over ornamentation"

What?! This guy has terrible control and placement. Awful singer with a GREAT band.

  • This song has been around 40 years. Written by great jazz composer Jimmy Van Heuson (and Carl Cigman).

He doesn't sing exactly the correct lyric: the last line (before the solo) is "through all of my tears, I could have told you so". Cedar Walton (piano great) has recorded this. Eva Cassidy even had a version. This is really nice slow (and as it was written) but many jazzers swing it and I like to sing it as a Bossanova. ;)

  • he does sing the right lyric, "if only you'd asked" ends the first verse, and "through all of my tears" ends the second...

  • While his voice is soothing, he could do with some enunciation lessons ( vowels especially). I am not too impressed with his control and placement either

  • @EMcDjazz .... agree with you...... that aside, he is very good. However, I always interpreted the lyric as a man chastizing himself, meaning that he should have known better than to fall in love with her. "through all of my tears, I could have told you so" only works that way.

  • wow.

    yheah i'm a fan. a new fan.

    groupie.

  • totally love this! simple yet complex, corny and tragic, yet completely authentic and original...great arrangement!! props!
