i can understand why people question nikki minaj and her talent. when i first her spit it was her remake of BIGs warning. i thought she was nice, too nice. but as time went on people noticed how she put emphesis on style over substance. An how her lyrics now lean heavily on lil waynes foundation.i was even upset when my little niece started reciting her word for word(the part where drops her lesbian girlfriend in second for a thicker..) .

I've been following Nicki since The Come Up DVD, so when people say "oh she fucked wayne that's why she's so popular..etc." i'm like NO bet, Wayne went after Nicki. people don't realize, that you gotta have an IT factor to be successful and actually sell records, it's one thing to have talent. but at the end of the day people wanna see a personality behind it. I think the #1 Thing haters (non-nicki fans) don't get is the barbie thing, Nicki is TRYING to take the serious politics out of rap.

@bjamal05 ..iv been following her since she started. Playtime is over (Fav). She was hood but there was alot of the new nicki there to. Personaly Tiye is cool no side-eyed shit about her. I just find it stupid that she isnt embraced well because when most ppl say Female Rap They think kim but where is she so now we can have nicki to shed some light and have other bad bitches with other styles like Tiye and diamond come to the forefront
