I was expecting so much more from the gameplay...VP1 was good...VP2 was an Amazing improvement...why couldn't they just improve or copy VP2 gameplay on DS? and their recent sequels/remakes on DS are horrible...I honestly wonder what happened to SE/Tri-ace this gaming generation...now i feel like i am just getting old waiting for a decent game...how long has it been since we gamers got a decent game out of tri-ace? 3 years? -_-"

This is the best they can do for the DS you can't make it like silmeria on a hand held console I'm afraid. for what they did its the best DS game, probably will always be the best DS game since all the other DS games suck in comparison. I have all consoles and most games so I'm not biased, and by far the most pleasing games of all have been Star ocean, Valkyrie profile make you feel satisfied when you kick so much ass/damage I just wish this was on Xbox360 or a more powerful 1080p console.

Keep in mind that Star Ocean 3, while on a console, was shit. tri-Ace is not the best developer ever anyways. Infinite Undiscovery had its share of problems as well.
That I agree with you star ocean 3 was no way as good as star ocean 2, the gap is pretty big too, infinite undiscovery I have it I also think its pile of crap, but when it comes to Valkyrie profile artwork characters & battles that is enough to keep me occupied for 200+hours,what ilove about battles is how epic they can be, tales of destiny series Namco and Tri Ace are the only companies that can put up a great fight, but valkyrie profile + TriAce are my fav of all.They gave us something special

Yes! they took the valkyrie profile eries (of which I haven't played one ) and turned it into an SRPG. I think this is totally gonna be worth it.

Well the Super Robot Wars games are cool.
When they tried their hand at action version (Real Robot Regimen), or real time strategy (Scramble Commander I & II), it didnt work out as well.

Keep in mind that Star Ocean 3, while on a console, was shit. tri-Ace is not the best developer ever anyways. Infinite Undiscovery had its share of problems as well.
