lol last year (in December), some young guys--maybe in their late teens or early twenties--pulled up next to me and my mom (who is 39 and was 38 at the time) in their SUV and started hitting on her. They asked for her phone number, and my mom thought they asked her if she knew them. When they drove away, I told my mom what they said and she said, "I'm old enough to be their mother! If you think about it, Kate does really use her camera alot. She records 20-30 clips per day, nevermind pictures and discarded clips we don't see. So that's alot of booting cycles, along with the drops and such, it has a tougher life than just a normal person would give it, however she's had some bad luck so far with this camera model.

You could fix the camera easily -- it's just some sand stuck under the shutters after your visit to the beach -- my camera did exactly the same thing. All you need to do is remove the sand with an air-brush -- you can even just ask a camera shop guy -- what we did -- and it's back to normal!
