I hate when people compare remakes to the original.Obviously, people who know the original will prefer it to the remake. But when people cover older songs, it allows a newer generation to be exposed to that music. I fell in love with Donnell's version because I was 20 years old when it came out and never would have heard Stevie's version if it were not for this one. I prefer Donnell because is sounds more like the music of my time. The man can sang!
