  • I've been told that if I take my iPhone to the Philippines, when it connects to a tower, it will start costing me a lot of money because I am not on a phone plan over there. How do I avoid this?

    Turn the IPhone off. Use a cheap Philippine phone when here, about $20 with sim card and load
