  • My all time favorite SNES and GBA game. This game was basically 40% of my childhood.

  • i loved it

  • wonderful

  • inspiring

  • what a shame its just midi...would love to listen to this with a real orchestra

  • @ChrisRenucci It's not a midi, it's 100 times more real than midi, that are real recording of the instruments, but the VST is not very realistic.

  • @RamonFRT MIDI is just an Interface and it can even sound better than this, but its an old Standard. New Standards, with real recorded Instruments, for Cubase and others, sound like a real Orchestra, but this here are clearly MIDI samples or at least they sound like it.

  • @ChrisRenucci it's MIDI! I said that in the description. I used the samples from EWQL Silver. Someday I'll remake this song with better samples and a better midi file.

  • @marcustiso yea, thats what I said, no need to say me, but this Ramon guy belive its not.

  • Super Nintendo is the best system ever

  • So I guess Mr Nintendo hated the DIC story of them coming from Brooklyn New York, and wanted this story to sink in better.

  • baby bowser disliked

  • i would cry to this

  • ohh Nintendo and their memorable music. :)

  • You gotta try this with other Mario themes (i.e., Super Mario World end credits)!

  • -__- i still have it

  • 1 person got eaten by the frog at level 4 and they couldnt beat the game so they disliked it

  • 1 person could'nt beat the game

  • @Shadowsf7 1 person lost the game (by the way, you also lost the game).

  • this music hit me when i was 4 playing this when it first came out, still does now :(

  • I jus noticed after 14 years from the last time I played dis game.....the very last 10 or 15 seconds of the song is a neat little mix of dat tune after u jump on dat pole wit the flag on top in the original Mario Bros game. Man I miss those golden years

  • Tears.

  • :(

  • This song means to me a see you soon!!!! not a goodbye and ty yoshi!!!

  • how can anyone dislike this? I mean really!

  • The only reason I'm upset with the ending is that yoshi is gone out of the video :( I just leave the room to ignore it

  • shut it this music is so good it makes us cry (sob sob sob weep weep weep)

  • This is good. Very good. To make it sound more real, you'll need to put some reverb in and you'll have to randomize the volumes for each note to make it sound like human fingers... Maybe even mess around with attack, sustain and decay. The piano part is brilliant though.

  • I don't know why they negativate your comment... I got the midi file in a site with various video game music, but I don't remember wich site is it. I put the VST and edited the MIDI in FL Studio.

  • @marcustiso Is it vgmusic?

  • love it....X3

  • What Is This?: a straight shot down Mario Memory Lane... All those "castles with no princesses" travels have paid off, Mario will live on forever... ={

  • Uggh! The GBA version's animation was waaaaay too slow. Some of the stages suffered too (choppy lava waves, vastly inferior "dizzy" effect, etc). You should have captured from the SNES version.

  • shUT up I grew up with the GBA version D:

  • "Grew up?" The GBA version isn't even "old" yet.

  • Neither am I lol

  • @CZroe the guy is probably a kid

  • @SnoocheeBoochees

    "...grew up with..."

    "...probably a kid."

Think about that for a second.

Even if he's a kid, that would make it misplaced nastalgia (not old memories), which is my point exactly.

  • @CZroe Well it is 8 years old (came out in 2002), but ... yeah.

  • You could hardly confuse this for a real orchestral, but I actually kinda like the way you got it going here. It still works and sounds fitting.

  • but when you are dead u cant make a cd anymore

    amiright?

  • @voodoo91 You can record things while living, and ask the producers not to release those recordings until after you're dead.

  • @voodoo91 can you do it yourself?

  • when I die I'm going to make cd with sad video game music like this one

  • @bean641

"Sad?" Seriously? Come on! I can think of some truly "sad" game music but this is the opposite of sad. Just because it ends slowly doesn't make it "sad."

  • Hey ....... SHUT UP CZroe!!!

  • CZroe's right. It's actually inspiring...not "sad."

  • Very good, man.

When they arrived home... it makes me cry

  • Oh my god it gives me goosebump that super mario fanfare!!!

  • I cry at the ending.

    Every time.

    But that's just me. T_T

    *tears up with joy*

    It's just really beautiful...

  • @YoshiStarSpirit Yeah, that's what fiction is kinda suppose to provoque, emotion. If you think about it the boring way: just some notes arranged to form a musical piece, without thinking about all the story and atmosphere of the game/end credits and how the music fits it so well, it doesn't really get to ya, but if you DO consider all of the above and are aware about it, the emotion may appear much more easily. Fiction is sometimes the best version of reality we would like to have.
