My brothers is 7 years old... i showed him this anime last saturday and he said '' what the crap was that?''..... well, he actually thought most of it was funny but stupid and thats what made him like it but not ONLY that! This show taught him some good 'life lessons' and he just finished today and said ''... That was... THE BEST ANIME EVER!'' and I said ''good boy!'' I was sooo happy.. memories :)

The first time I watched FLCL i didn't understand it at all, but then I watched it again and a loved it and I can't stop watching it. The soundtrack to this anime is sooooo good, I listen to it every day now.

This is such a beautiful surrealist/absurdist piece of fiction. I think it deserves a place on every single person's DVD rack. It's an indispensable show.

@nate1000man i agree with this is deffinately one of those animes that is just a classic and a must have for any anime fan i remember when this for came out and i watched the very first episode and thinking when it was over "O.o''' what the fuck did i just watch??" and the rest was history, i was sucked into FLCL just like that XD another that just made me laugh was the whole Lupin the 3rd refernce !
