i got this game for free from a friend. I loved it but i got to say it was somewhat disappointing to me at the same time cause they could've put more expressions and towns in it and the story was okay at best but other than that i enjoyed it but i'd give it a 4/5 on xplay ranking and a 8.5/10

@robotpanda77 while a lot of his praise toward the game is far-fetched it isn't totally rediculous especially considering the fact that co-op can be a bit annoying when ur partner isn't that great and as for the look of the game it isn't so bad to the point where calling it flawless is "bullshit" just saying.

@robotpanda77 What is so visually flawed about the game? The art-direction IMO is really well done, and even though there are a few hiccups here and there, it's a pretty damn looking game.

Again, just my opinion. But I did find the single-player very satisfying, I even played through it 3 times. Once good, and once evil, and then another good so I could do the DLC.

I guess you probably don't care for the game, but I find it to be an incredibly charming and unique game.

Fable 2 is indeed short in comparison to many RPGs(some of which can run over 100 hours, like Dragon Age), but that's because it's meant to be played more than once. Which I have no problem doing. This game is witty, funny, charming and tongue-in-cheek. It's a light, satisfying alternative to many of the heavy emotional rollercoasters I'm used to playing. The NPCs are loveable, the dog is AMAZING, and most of the flaws(like the kinda lacking story) can be easily overlooked during play.

Of course, Fable 2 isn't exactly for "hardcore" gamers who want their thumbs to bleed whilst they slash away at hordes of the undead. This game is fun. Not particularly challenging(though certain boss battles and the Colosseum-type quest did take a little longer than I would've liked)- most of it is exploring, interacting and collecting. It's just pure entertainment- it's not made to frustrate you.

This game really was entertaining, combat, humor, graphics, you name it. Even the achievement descriptions sometimes contained some good British humor (the best of all). I loved this game while I had the 360.

Am I the rare person that liked Fable 2 better? The combat scheme in Fable 2 was so much better (as was the aiming system), and the visuals were far and away much better. The two systems of purity/corruption and good/evil further balanced the moral decisions one makes in the game, and while it's a bit easy to make money, that isn't what Fable is about, is it? It isn't even about the plot! It's about making decisions and seeing how the world changes in reaction to those decisions.

It's reviews like this that make me question if G4 accepts bribes to give good reviews. Especially when I here many other players get on it as well. Fable 1 is overall better than 2 in many ways. Fable 2 was extremely short and could be finished in a day with time to spare. The clothing and armor options were also limited, which led to very small differences among characters. If I remember correctly, there was also no end boss. If I had to score it, I would give it a 2/5 because it's not worth the money for such a short experience.

@ArodWingfoot Dog: leads you to treasure, fights with you. Combat: simplistic, but deep: switching between the melee, ranged, and magic combat schemes offers some entertaining fights. The magic system is a 5-tiered system that gets deeper as you unlock more spell levels.

Gameplay: The golden path is there if you ever wish to return, but you can let yourself get sidetracked by side quests and the like. It's an ingenious system, really.

@ArodWingfoot Quite honestly, if you went to Metacritic, you'd find an aggregated score of 89, which is really very good. Fable 2 got a ton of of GOTY awards, and not from G4 either. You need to actually think out your opinions before you speak them.
