  • Ηταν φοβερη σειρα,μπορουμε να βρουμε καπου αυτα τα επεισοδια??

  • @thecapricorn888

    στα ελληνικά ... δύσκολα!

  • @thecapricorn888 People, I am very sorry! But "John 'Grizzly' Adams" was NOT the man that the TV series starring Dan Haggerty ("Hunk" that he was.) made him out to be! He was NOT the so called "inoocent 'fugitive' of the law'". John "Grizzly" Adams, was a man who, seeing bankruptcy in his future, ABANDONED his wife and children and headed for the HILLS! ... In fact, Ben, the BEAR friend of his, DIED in a San Francisco ZOO! Per those days, I cringe to think of the conditions dear Bend died in.

  • @thecapricorn888 I don't know what you are saying because, DUH, YOU ARE NOT SPEAKING ENGLISH!

  • @thecapricorn888 DUH! Speak ENGLISH, my friend! Think of me what you like!

  • - Just reading over the posts here, I am saddened to hear of Vivcat's loss. This person helped me aquire this series that will always be a part of my life growing up. Best wishes, friend.

  • i used to watch this all the time!

i was in love with the gental man, with a beard & a bear!!

    he was cute!!

  • I watched this show as a youngin' and loved it. With life as it is today it makes me think how I would like to live like Adams in those days. Living life on your own terms.

  • Der Mann aus den Bergen!!! War das schön früher!!!

  • My God I feel old now!

  • My mother passed away feb18th 2009 i remember watching this show /w her every week so many years ago i cry to these old movies thinking of her

  • So sorry to hear that. I lost my Dad on May 14th, 2009, so I can certainly sympathize!

  • @earlestdavis Please read my posts. I do NOT lie! ... I understand you. We/I lost my sister due to a bad stroke this past August 12th. She was ONE mere DAY away from celebrating what would've been her 58th birthday. (So young.) But, as a cousin of our's wrote to me, "What BETTER way to spend one's birthday than with their HEAVENLY Father?!" Sooooo VERY true! ... BIG hugs, GOD bless and, my FRIEND, Merry CHRISTmas!

  • The closing theme was never heard in its entirety during the original run or even in US syndication - thanks for posting!

  • this was on sunday night after dinner and me and my 7 brothers and sisters and my parents sat with pop corn and watched and sometimes cryied...loved this show and brings back fun days as a kid now 42yrs

    gr8 memories

  • What aWonderfull Great Series of which i miss dearly since it finished in the early 80's! My sister & i loved coming home from school to watch this great show!!! The musical theme sung by Thom Pace is Just Magnificent!!! Thankyou Very Much for Posting / Sharing this video with all!!!!!

  • I know what you mean. You are very kind.

    Thank you.

  • @kindbluey I loved the series TOO! But, like so many others, we were misled. ... James "Grizzly" Adams was NOT an "innocent" fugitive of the law. He was a man that, seeing bankruptcy in his future, ABANDONED his wife and children and headed for the hills. (In those days, they probably ended up on what was then known as a "work farm".,) ... In fact, Ben, the bear he made a "friend", DIED in a San Francisco ZOO! ... It broke my heart when I read the mere truth due to a search I did.

  • @kindbluey YES! Thom Pace was magnificent!!!!!!! As was Dan Haggarty. (ALSO, he was in MY wee opinion, soooo FINE! lol) But you should do research about what the real so-called "man", John "Grizzly" Adams really WAS. :-( It would break your heart. This TV series was great, but the REAL story behind it would break your heart.

  • @kindbluey I am so very sorry, but, AGAIN, I sigh. Reseach, my friend. NO offense intended whatsoever.

  • @kindbluey If you did not read my posts, then CHECK YOURSELF! :-)

  • @kindbluey But, sadly, what most people don't realize or know is that James "Grizzly" Adams was NOT the man that the TV series made him out to be. (In the series, he was an "innocent 'fugitive'" of the law! WRONG!) Indeed, he was a man who went bankrupt and, upon doing so, literally ABANDONED his wife and children and headed for the hills! Back then, such women and children would've ended up on what they called "work farms". It was a wonderful series, yes; but it was based upon LIES. Sorry.

  • @LonzaLJohnsonFarkas If you don't believe me, do a search, as I did.

  • @kindbluey I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but James "Grizzly" Adams was NOT the "innocent" fugitive of the law that the TV series made him out to be! James Adams, seeing bankruptcy in his future, ABANDONED his wife and kids and headed for the HILLS! In those days, his family very likely ended up on a "work farm". We are talking HARD LABOR, etc. I am sorry. Search it. You will see. James Adams, sadly, was an azz. Moreover, Ben DIED in a ZOO! Search it, if you don't believe me.

  • @kindbluey OMG! Are you people just DENSE?! James Adams was JUST what I said he was! An ASS that left his wife and CHILDREN to fend for THEMSELVES! ... SEARCH IT! ... Get off your complacent butts and SEARCH IT! I did! ... I am sorry. But I despise it when someone is given more credit than is due them. I also despise it when dumb people sit back admiring such people! ... You doubt MY word?! Search it, like I did. ... God bless!

  • @kindbluey I do not CARE! Read my past posts! Search it it you don't believe me. James "Grizzly" Adams was an azz. Sorry. He, seeing bankruptcy in his future,ABANDONED his wife and CHILDREN and headed for the hills, like the coward that he was. "Ben", the gentle BEAR he supposedly took "in" AS A FRIENd, DIED in a San Francisco Zoo! James Adams was an ASSHOLE and an OPPORTUNIST! ... I am sick of this shit. ... Do your homework! Stop paying homage to people who dont DESERVE it!

  • @kindbluey I am so sorry to tell you this, but James "Grizzly" Adams was NOT the man that the TV series made him out to be. I am sorry, but, seeing BANKRUPTSY in his future, he ABANDONED his wiife and CHILDREN, headed for the hills and the bear named "Ben" DIED in a San Fransisco ZOO! ... I am sorry, again. You can search this, if you like. I did. ... I liked the TV series too. But I hate lies.

  • @kindbluey READ my previous posts, okay? ... I liked the series too, but I am not a fool, nor do I think you are. ... READ. James "Grizzly" Adams, the REAL one, was NOTHING like the TV series made him out to be. ... I did a search; so should you. ... God bless!

  • @kindbluey I am so sorry, I did a SEARCH! You should too! I am sooo sorry! His name was "James" 'Grizzly" Adams. He ABANDONED his wife and KIDS because he was facing BANKRUPTSY, HEADED for the country. He "befriended" a bear cub! That bear DIED in a San Fransicso ZOO! Don't kid yourself, back THEN, YOU know the conditions were, in a word, horrid. ... Stop kidding yourselves. I carry TURTLES ACROSS THE ROAD! But James "Grizzley" Adams was NO HERO! i STAND 4'8", 114#, Iam NO hero either.

  • @kindbluey How many times do I have to say this?! The REAL John "Grizzly" Adams was NOT the MAN the TV series made him out to be. ... With bankruptsy ahead of him, he ABANDONED his WIFE and KIDS and headed for the hills! He "befriended" a bear cub that later DIED in his San Fransisco ZOO! ... Search it here on the net!

  • @LonzaLJohnsonFarkas Sorry, JAMES. ... My bad.

  • I was just 1 yo when they broadcast this show in my country on 1979, but this song has become my lifetime favorite, thank you for sharing this video.

  • Thank you for your kind words.

  • My favorite part of the show is at the end here when the last lines are spoken, the music starts and the camera pulls away to show the mountains. Thank you for this video!
