  • lol "couple of ounces" hahaha word.

  • Marijuana brings people closer to God while alcohol drives people closer to the devil.

  • Wow.

I can't believe I'm going to say this...but I agree with Pat Robertson.

And I think that is the first time EVER.

    Pat must be a toker!

  • the only smart thing he has ever said

  • Jesus got high.

  • 700 Club changing it's name to 420 Club.

  • smoking pot is not a sin!

  • that video was cut short and it's sounds wrong because they cut it short. look for the full clip

  • Christianity Inc. -The Biggest Money-making Scam Ever.

Give the megachurch more money you Christians and give the megachurches complete tax breaks, so all the criminals, dealers and ministers running those churches can buy endless mansions, hookers, drugs, porn, politicians, policy, make America as fascist & theocrat as possible so they can keep raking in those billions of dollars. Americans make sure to always stay gullible to bullshit, stay fearful and always give your money to liars & crooks.

  • @KaptKan1 recreational drugs should not be prohibited. Drugs that have no type of medicinal benefits should still be (ie. Cocaine, Herione). But yeah i dont have a problem with drugs like marijuana. Putting people in jail over small ounces is ridiculous.

  • Prohibition of any drug/medicine does NOT work and only destroys lives and economies while giving massive economic and political power to gangsters and police states (pardon the redundancy). The State does NOT own you and has no right to run your life; it has no right to force medication on you (fluoridation of your water supply, for instance) or do deny you the right to medicate yourself as you see fit.

Old Pat just might be wising up in his old age.

  • Man made beer. God made pot. Who do you have faith in?

  • @RussellMania85 I have faith in myself to know that I should not abuse the use of neither...whether it's manmade or made by God. Crutches are for the handicapped. I don't need crutches nor do I use them for fun or a high. Life is so much deeper than that.

  • If anyone has a drug problem, PLEASE, turn to Christ for help. Christ loves you and offers everyone forgiveness and salvation; for God desires that none should perish.

Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon His name while He is near. --- Isaiah 55:6

  • @mrchiefofsinners AMEN!!! ^^

  • Random Marijuana hypocrisy.

    Genesis 1:29

    And God saith, 'Lo, I have given to you every herb sowing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree sowing seed, to you it is for food;

It used to be a LAW in America you had to grow Hemp.

    George Washington Advocated it's use.

The first flag was made of it

The constitution was written on it.

  • @BadSwineDOTcom Page one of the bible. Another good tidbit of info. When people start whining about the bible saying to be sober. Sober is translated from the word nepho. Nephos literal translation is "drink no wine". It has nothing to do with pot.

  • Btw...Pat Robertson isn't advocating for Cannabis. He just agrees that the Marijuana laws are asanine. Its been legal in this country since theJamestown colony in 1619, until the Marihuana Tax Act in 1937. It was required by law to sow indian hemp seed and grow it in the Jamestown colony. You could pay your taxes with Cannabis up until the mid 1800's. Then the cotton gin came out, and cotton became a big thing. In 1876, pot smoking parlors opened all over the northeastern states of the U.S.A.!

  • The war on drugs is about jobs for the justice-industrial complex, and corruption for the enforcers. And that is all it is for. Good to see Robertson joining the ranks of the decent people.

  • Glad to see actual "CHANGE" coming from this nation.

The younger generation isn't fooled anymore. People are tired of the lies and misconceptions. The knowledge is out and it's cascading down; a revolution is imminent.

I'd rather buy weed from a place that is quality assured, government regulated, and the taxes benefit our economy, instead of supporting black market, low lives that can have ill intent and lace the marijuana or use the profit for greater crimes.

  • Prisons are big business. It is time to stop making crime profitable for corporations.

  • The war on drugs is about jobs for the justice-industrial complex, and corruption for the enforcers. And that is all it is for. Good to see Robertson joining the ranks of the decent people.

  • Later on the 700 Club Robertson was seen sparking big fat spliff lol

  • End the war on drugs. Legalize all drugs and regulate them. Two of the worst drugs are already readily available, legal, regulated and taxed: tobacco and alcohol. This would destroy the drug trade and cartels practically overnight. There would still be a black market, but it would be small. Let people decide for themselves what they want to do to themselves.

  • Legalize it!! Not decriminalize it!! Making it legal gets it out of criminal hands. The government doesn't need to be convinced - they need to be defeated.

  • @peterpotpie .. i'm with you man (other than defeating govt ... but it's been few breakthru tho ... it'll take some time to break the ignorance,...

  • I think I hit my head too hard. Is Pat Robertson actually making sense?

  • Who the fuck cares what this sack of shit says? Smoke weed and have fun and fuck everyone who's against it.

  • Nah...I think I was high when I wrote my last post...:-)

  • This is actually a huge deal. Pat Robertson commands a huge following, many of whom would be likely to oppose marijuana legalization on moral grounds. If their spiritual leader comes out in favor of legislation that would reduce or eliminate criminal penalties for marijuana users, they could provide enough votes to really put America over the tipping point. Whether or not you like him is a different matter, but there could actually be a clear majority of people in favor of legalization in 2012.

  • Even more immediate and effective, Robertson's followers probably sit on juries in marijuana cases every day, and can refuse to convict, like every juror should have been doing all along.

  • I actually agree with Pat Robertson!!

  • ZEKDOM!! What the HELL? Do you not see that your "So Called List" is a slippery slope we cant afford to open ourselves to?

Put these in reverse order and you will see what I mean!

Marijuana smoking leads to Coffee Drinking, and with all the caffeine in your system you need Alcohol to sleep then you move to more powerful stimulants to stay awake, which leads to Cocaine use, which is a gateway drug to Heroin. And by that time you are lost in the drug world you begin to smoke.DO NOT PLAY WITH FIRE!

  • @MistahRogershood haha you can't be serious with this argument. You're either hilarious in your use of satire, or retarded in your use of logic.

  • @MistahRogershood This list was ranked by Dr. Jack E. Henningfield of the National Institute on Drug Abuse. I also have the ratings ranked by Dr. Neal L. Benowitz of the University of California at San Francisco that have consistent studies proving that nicotine is the most addicting substance. The Institute of Medicine has declared that Cannabis isn't a gateway drug. I've known of a CPA accountant that has smoked it for 30 years, and has had zero desire for narcotics.

  • Holy hell!! I never thought I'd say this but I actually agree with something this ball bag has to say. He's actually RIGHT about something for a change.

  • ah the old bigpharm and it's many privatized corps run by numerous ceo's w/numerous denominations that are pumped full o' pills, hello, what!?

  • Good to see some of the Reagan zombies beginning to wake up (albeit decades behind the rest of the country).

    It's about damn time!

  • it is good to see people like Pat whom i agree with almost nothing with come to his senses about at least one thing

  • Looks like one of Robertson's relatives, or perhaps one of his gay lovers, must have just been busted for possessing a little weed.

  • @1140Cecile - lol ... yeah, something must have brought it closer to home.

  • The host sounds like Eddie Murphy.

    *LOL*

  • WAIT what ! Pat robertson advocating weed ?!?! o.O ....

  • Lets listen to a man who thinks "natural disasters" occur because of God's punishment on "sinful" activity....

Marijuana like cigarettes contain carcinogens, if Marijuana is illegal then cigarettes should be illegal as well!

  • @North2016 God uses natural disasters to wipe out big pockets of sin and debauchery. just look at Katrina.

  • He can't be the voice of reason.... That just doesn't make any sense....

  • Wow!

  • Wow unbelievable to hear pat robertson say something rational and that makes sense.

  • Someone in pat's family must have cancer and doctors told them that the best thing for them was cannabis. Now that he see's the benefit up close and personal he is changing his mind on the issue!

  • @watercup123456 Interesting. That's a logical, quite possible hypothesis.

  • Should I say Haleluja?

  • Pat should smoke some weed, it might make him less of a douchebag to people who have different family structures.

  • Comment removed

  • Is it bad I think marijuana should stay illegal after I hear Pat Robertson okay the substance?

  • @wollclark No, you should probably look at it like,"Whoa, even a religious person sees how stupid the marijuana laws are." Something like that.

  • @zekdom

My first comment was a joke. But I must add something, there's religious, then there's Pat Robertson who's an all around asshole. You need to make a distinction.

  • @wollclark It depends on how one lives out their religious life style. Ever hear of the Westboro Baptist Church?

  • @zekdom the Westboro Baptist Church are the ones who have signs that say things like God hates fags? Hypocrites cause God Hates No One. God loves man but not the Sin! :) God Bless for sayin' that yes it does depend on how one lives. We should pray for everyone who needs it and not judge or condemn.

  • @Megsgirl247 The Westboro Baptists killed our reputation...ugh. Hate the sin, but not the sinner. For certain, but yes, we should pray for ourselves and everybody.

  • @wollclark AMEN TO THAT! *LOL*

  • LEGALIZE!!!

  • legalize marijuana and hemp. big corporations are the reason its illegal anyway. hemp is the green economy we should be building. do some research

  • According to the Henningfield ratings(ranked after Dr. Jack E. Henningfield of the National Institute on Drug Abuse) that have ranked the top 6 psychoactive drugs in order ranking how addictive they are. 1 being the most addictive, while 6 being the least addictive. This is the ratings:

    1. Nicotine

    2. Heroin

    3. Cocaine

    4. Alcohol

    5. Caffeine

    6. Marijuana

Marijuana doesn't contain addicting stimulants, unlike tobacco.

  • @zekdom I heard that nicotine occurs naturally in the body and that the problem with smoking is that it teaches the body not to produce it's own nicotine thereby causing the need to continue to smoke. Apparently you can buy organic nicotine drops to counter withdrawal(?) effects when you quit.

  • @TheJourney000 You're probably thinking of receptors in our body that attatches to the nicotine. The body does not produce it's own nicotine.

  • @TheJourney000 "its"

  • @zekdom lol, ty!

  • @TheJourney000 No problem :)

  • @zekdom That's nonsense. Heroin is way more addicting, and marijuana isn't addicting at all.

  • @StormOfSwords No, every study shows that nicotine is more addictive than heroin. While the withdrawl symptoms of heroin are more physiologically pronounced, nicotine is a harder addiction to break. Perhaps you should do some reading before assuming something and posting about it?

  • Comment removed

  • @StormOfSwords You know that 1 is the most addictive, while 6 is the least addictive? :)

  • @zekdom Pots not addictive, gluttony is though. People that can't stop smoking have self control issues, not an addiction.

  • @st4ticblu3 You do realize that 1 is the most addictive, while 6 is the least addictive? In other words, nicotine is very addictive and cannabis contains no addictive stimulants.

  • @st4ticblu3 Notice how alcohol, and tobacco are up there? Notice how Henningfield ranked marijuana as the least addicting? Notice how tobacco n' alcohol are legal, but marijuana is not? It's not addicting for a lot of people. It is for some though. However..."Compared to most other drugs...dependence among Marijuana users is relatively rare."-The Institute of Medicine.

Even the Institute of Medicine recognizes that pot isn't addicting compared to other drugs like tobacco, and alcohol.

  • @zekdom Although I am for decriminalization of marijuana, I must tell you that Marijuana can become addictive psychologically. While there may be no physical addiction, the psychic addiction is very real. I know because I was once there myself and currently have 2 family members who are addicted in this way. A psychological addiction is often harder to overcome than a physical one because it is deeply embedded in the user's mind that he must get high everyday. Prison is not the answer.

  • @SkateboardArts Oh, I definitely agree that anything can be psychologically addictive. World of Warcraft, cheeseburgers, et cetera. The important thing is to focus on whether or not it is physically addicting. That's the controversy. I agree, prison is not the answer.

  • @zekdom Caffeine isn't gonna be the cause of drunk or drugged up drivers causing accidents *lol* Stupid drivers will though XP

  • @Megsgirl247 According to the American Journal of Addiction 2009, marijuana users can drive more safely compared to alcohol drivers, because marijuana users have an increased awareness that they are impaired. Thus, they usually utilize several behavioral strategies. While alcohol drivers...well ya know. I can give you the intoxication ratings provided by Dr. Neal L. Benowitz or Dr. Jack E. Henningfield, if you like. Caffeine and nicotine ranked in last place, while pot came in 4th place (mild).

  • @zekdom I drink only coffee seein' as you can't get arrested for drinkin' coffee and driving. I don't give a crap what some report by any human says as humans are prone to error and God is not! humans can be fooled by the devil to think drinking beer and doing drugs is ok. I don't even care what Pat Robertson says. I don't put my trust in man...ONLY IN GOD!

  • @Megsgirl247 Proverbs 31: 6-7 states to drink alcohol if you are troubled. So, if you're going through a rough time, then you need to take a load off. Marijuana is healthier (especially if ingested instead of smoked) than alcohol is. As previously stated, nicotine and caffeine came in last place when it came to intoxication. So, you're fine. Marijuana isn't as intoxicating as alcohol is. So, if alcohol is legal, then marijuana should be as well. I'm a Christian conservative too :)

  • @zekdom Amen to that brother! :) Marijuana as a painkiller is better than Morphine I agree with that. It's not the use of marijuana but the 'Abuse' of it that's the problem.

  • @Megsgirl247 Isn't morphine powdered heroin? Well, absolutely. Yeah, we can both agree on that. Just moderate it. Jesus even turned water into wine, afterall...I think He's fine with moderation.

  • @zekdom

No... morphine is the natural alkaloid in poppy resin (opium) from which heroin is synthesized. Morphine is an effective painkiller on its own but when the molecule is acetylated it becomes the more potent heroin. Ironically, heroin actually has less side effects than morphine while also being a more effective painkiller.

Heroin is used legally in UK hospitals and other Euro countries.. the only reason the US doesn't use medical heroin is the social hysteria and stigma it has.

  • @bobshenix I knew it had something to do with "poppy". Well, thanks for the clarification...kind of weird going from AA to heroin on a pro-marijuana video, eh?

  • @bobshenix I think the cannabinoids via smoked form would be an effective pain killer, so we wouldn't have to legalize the dangerous drugs. However, some people would say that putting the drugs in the hands of the government may not be the worst idea, but not enough people will be too happy about that idea. Therefore, we must stick to legalizing cannabis oil/smoked marijuana for strict medicinal purposes! That is more feasible than legalizing it for recreational use.

  • @zekdom

I agree that it should be legal for medicinal purposes but also decriminalized for the general public... everything the government does is totally inefficient so i'd rather not have it controlled by those bozos lol

Generally speaking, as older folks die and younger generations get older weed will be more a part of American culture and much more accepted regardless of how legalization programs are implemented. Even if that wasn't so... the country is too broke to keep the status quo!!

  • @bobshenix I agree that the government can't continue to spend 9-10 billion dollars a year trying to suppress marijuana alone. They actually spent that much in the year 2008! What a shame, but I'm for decriminalization. I just believe that it's more realistic to fight for medicinal use, and take the focus off of decriminalization/legalization. More people would be willing to listen for marijuana for medicinal purposes than anything else. You really think that the social stigma will be lifted?

  • @zekdom Who cares for how harmful a drug is ?

Prohibiting Substances is simply insane. Substances are simply substances EVERYTHING depends on the user....

    Better prohibit stupid people lol

  • That's great for Pat Robertson. Legalize pot the cash crop for the drug cartels.

Keeping marijuana illegal is profitable for drug cartels, the prison-industrial complex, federal government agencies like the DEA, and banks that launder drug money.

  • It's a Christmas miracle!!!

  • Dr. Vincenzo Di Marzo-"THC exhibits anti-tumor effects on various cancer cell types."

    Dr. Liu-"THC kills cancer cells."

According to the Journal of the National Cancer Institute in 1975,"Anti-neoplastic activity of Cannabinoids." Neoplastic means tumor. We've known that Cannabinoids, like THC, have killed cancer cells for years. Smoking marijuana provides a protective effect against carcinogens that would cause lung cancer, because Dr. Tashkin concluded that THC provides a protective effect.

  • That's it... Now I know the world is coming to an end if Pat Robertson is in support of reducing Marijuana laws.

  • eating what you want is your personal choice-drinking what you want is your personal choice-smoking if you choose to is your personal choice.the mafia drug dealers, also known as alc.i.a.da dont want pot legalized because they will lose profits.

  • Did Mr. Robertson move from blood diamonds to investing in Marijuana farms?

Remember he was the "liquor control officer" in Vietnam.

  • In reality, 2 or 3 ounces is a felony in every state. The reporter/station totally gets it wrong and is obviously trying to downplay his statement. I am shocked, as many others are, that Pat Robertson could say something that actually makes sense.

  • We really would do the world a great favor to remove religion from the earth.

The marijuana laws are stupid as well.

  • and a happy christmas all ;)

  • Maybe Pat burns...? Hmmmmm

  • wow Im actually agreeing with Pat Robertson

  • It's about time Pat Robertson started making sense!

  • Dont be fooled by the Turd known as Pat Robertson. He has an agenda.

  • LOL pat robertson???? is reasonable???? lol

  • Thank you for finally posting some good news. I'm tierd of seeing and hearing about bad news on T.V alllllllllllllll day and night. I know things are bad right now but man.

  • This is a good sign, it means mj is about to legalized and he owns a plantation.

  • P-A-T & G-O-D. Both have 3 letters...spooky,eh?

  • I will fucking smoke him out anytime.

  • Cannabis is medicine and no medicine should ever be illegal anywhere.

  • He was right about Haiti. : /

  • One more thing, our criminal justice system has been privatized, folks. The sheriff and judges the "serve" your county are lining their pockets with money generated from the stocks they own in their prisons. It's very lucritive to keep the jails full of potheads. Where I live costs roughly $240 a day to house a single inmate. Prison medical care is provided by private companies. Everyone is making out like bandits-just not the taxpayers. These offenders can then look forward to probation.

    Wake up

  • well pat is starting to show a heart.

  • legalize Cocaine! it goes so well with alcohol

  • And Pat redeems himself....

  • @Nenendude

No, hardly. One agreeable statement doesn't undo all of the hateful things he's said.

  • @Yanma True

  • Comment removed

  • this is probably just some Christian fascist New World Order conspiracy to get everyone hooked on weed.

  • hes still an asshole

  • oh wow, there is a god.

  • Obviously Pat has been posessed by the Dev-ill. So ya betta hide yo kids, hide yo wife and hide yo husband because devil be possessing erybody out herr.

  • Amazing, the first time Robertson has ever said anything worthwhile in his whole life.

  • Comment removed

  • WHY ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT HIM, PERIOD! CNN! gah!

  • Will WONDERS NEVER CEASE? :-)

  • DO NOT REPLY TO GRANDARCHITECT3D.

  • If someone on par with pure concentrated evil even admits that pot should be legalized, we should scratch our heads and think about how EVIL the drug war people are.

  • Pat Robertson has been moved by logic and reason!?

..oh fuck... Maybe there IS a God... FOOOK

  • Holy shit!

  • It goes from God, to Pat, to the cleaners.

  • Woohoo! Mox ftw

  • "We Must Stop Ruining People's Live Over 2 Or 3 Ounces Of Marijuana!"

    A-FUCKING-MEN!!

  • Marijuana is a made up, (fake), word.

  • @cjsinclair All words are made up.

  • @hergs yes, however; you're missing my point, look up the history of the illegalization of hemp to find how & why the term marijuana was created to assist in the demonization of the weed.

  • Because A Christian Fascist says it's good to decriminalize marijuana, doesn't mean shit.

  • @qwertymanor It means all the wannabe christian fascists who lick up Pats ball sweat for a living might be willing to let their theocratic police state change into a theocratic police state where possessing small quantities of marijuana is legal.

    :p

  • This is the only time I've ever heard the guy say something that made sense. He must have changed his diet.

  • Is this reverse psychology?

  • does he believe what he says here?

  • It's a Festivus miracle!

  • @Roseybaby63 Shit, I'll even grumble less about having xmas shoved up my ass if I can legally smoke.

  • common sense

  • Only a Christian could be smart enough to realize this.

  • @GrandArchitect3D Hmm... yes... whereas libertarian atheists have been saying this for 50 years. You're right, Pat fucking Robertson deserves all the credit for saying one rational thing on his otherwise completely irrational TV show.

  • @hergs haha. it hasnt been said until a Christian says it.

  • @hergs Robertson's 50 years late and helped build the police state in which we find ourselves, but better late than never, eh?

  • @GrandArchitect3D Honestly, you must be so fucking new.

  • yea its just a plant from god am i wrong?

  • The Apocalype MUST be upon us....

  • all you Christian haters give respect to the wisdom of this man.

  • @GrandArchitect3D This "man" said that Haiti's earthquake was the result of a deal they made with the devil. You're a fucking idiot and so is this jackass.

  • @3GBlog uh yeah they did an occult ritual and pledged their souls to Satan in order to drive out the French. forget about that. this is about social justice of putting marijuana users in prison.

  • @GrandArchitect3D Right of course, all the haitians got into a big circle one night and prayed to the devil... you're an idiot.

  • @3GBlog they called upon the Old Ones in a ritual sacrifice of their own virgin daughters. well they got what they wanted and the French lost that colony but paid a heavy price. the Old Gods demand tribute.

  • @GrandArchitect3D

Why should we "respect the wisdom of this man" when most of us have been advocating the exact same position for a long time now? Pat's missed the bus on this one.

  • Hahaha! Finally he sees SOME logic! Pat just jumped up from -1000000000 to -100000 on the sanity scale. What an improvement!

  • Well you can't just go aound demonizing people all the time just because you are ganged up somehow and wear and outfit or uniform. Suit and tie is basically biased and biasing "idiotwear".... Right in style Take it to the grave Pat.
