between a house hold name like daft punk and a great band like N.E.R.D this is a thumbs down.Its not that it was bad song. Just it used a limited amount every one abilities Daft Punk could've done more. N.E.R.D should made a song thats pretty much a dumb down feel of every thing weve alreeady heard. Daft Punk were leaders in dance/house music and they shaped house/dance music for generations to come, so to say they are out of date house band is just silly. They just didnt fall for the typical electro house sound and seen it for what it was.... Boring!

I would say this track proves that the answer is no. Would this kind of quasi production be present on a N.E.R.D. album if it was made from a totally unknown producer? I think we all know the answer of that. This song would have ruined "In search of..." which is a classic btw.

I loved the two first N.E.R.D. albums, but this song is mediocre at best. I can't really understand why they need external production help, especially from an out of date house band such as Daft Punk. Instead of always selling their best beats to the highest bidders, they (Neptunes) should collect enough material to make a new N.E.R.D. classic. If this song represents how their new album sounds, I'm afraid it will be their worst album to this date.
