Tip: The trophy system can absorb 3 bullets before being destroyed. This means that you can plop it on the ground and lie down to have your own mini-shield, since the enemy will shoot the trophy system instead of you (most of the time), giving you a three bullet advantage. Trophy system ca also save your life from a stealth bomber like for examples a stealth bomber is coming to drop bombs at you and what you do is put down your trophy system and go under it and it shoots the bombs of the stealth bomber it works nice! :D

Although Trophy System is still a poor substitute for Recon + Hardline Pro with Recon Drone + Escort Airdrop/EMP in Kill Confirmed and Smoke Grenade + Blast Shield Pro in Domination, in the bomb game modes it really shines. Specially in Search and Destroy where lack of respawning results in camping and liberal use of (limited) explosives.

One big thing you wouldn't expect the trophy to do. If an enemy throws a care package in the vicinity of the trophy it will blow it up and there will be no package delivered.

if the enemy is close enough to the projectile when the trophy system "shoots" it, and you have the recon perk, it can actually mark enemies on your minimap.

say you're sniping in the house on bakaara and you have a trophy system set up in the DOORWAY to the OUTSIDE LEDGE, and you're goin loud with the 50 cal or somethin. someone tries to be sneaky and go under you/behind you, but throws a grenade and gets it blown up in their faces. it lets u hear it, see them on map, and have time to react

I love using the Trophy System as a trap if I'm covering an AOA.

To protect it, I will also place my BB at the bast of it and put the trophy system on top of it.

That way, if they go and cut the TS. BANG! Done. The funny thing is, Players with Stalker, will come by, trip the BB, and then stab the TS and find out "Aw shit, too late." BOOM!
