Great video! I helped him & his family take the wings off & load it on the trailer at Shiloh, NC after his performance once :) Not only the best pilot around, he was very friendly too. Tail draggers are great! Check out ours. Type in our tail number
These Pipers are so flexible that I can't believe! They do what the hell the pilot want 'em to do! I am too young to fly now, but I will fly (and it will be in a Cub) someday.
gunexpert check out these bush pilot vids with a cub...this one is landing in the length of a ping pong table.."Super Cub Super STOL Short Field Landing"
be sure to check out his wheel on water landings after on his channel just awsome flying
Perhaps some of you know of the Flying Farmer Stan Segalla at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Rhinebeck, New York. I have seen his act a number of times through the years and I even took an airplane ride with in in his Piper Cub when they could not fly the New Standard D-25 since it wasn't fit to fly at the time. Yes, I was upside down for a brief time during the flight and I was O.K. afterwards.
Worked the Flying Circus in late 90's and always loved the flying farmer act! Charlie is one of the few great pilots left who can pull off such manuevers and stay safe at the same time. (Btw, Happy Birthday Charlie!)
super cool amazing flying!!! never thought of a cub as an aerobat till i saw a bush pilot fly one strait up the vertical face of a cliff - now i fly my flight sim super cub as an aerobat and its my most fun plane to fly as such - thanks for sharing the vid

I recognize that flying style. I'm pretty sure he was flying my Air Canada Dash 8 into Ottawa last year.
LOL.

Forgive my ignorance - but isn't that a Super Cub?
Thought the SCs had a larger engine
If this is just the Cub, it is nothing short of outstanding!
elmerexpress 2 years ago
It's a regular j-3. You can tell because the cowling is cut out around the valve covers. It is pretty outstanding isn't it?

A CUB has everything you need for flying.
So make the Best of it and be a Pilot.
