when u sit behind a car at those speeds, your slip streaming, less air resistance, makes u go faster, but also... less air being pushed over the front of the car, resulting in less downforce and "groundeffect" (suction under the car) resulting in the car lifting over the crest, just a bit of bad luck, i dont think the driver would have anticipated it to happen or else he would have been out of the slipstream

Indeed it did happen to CLK in Le Mans and the Porsche at Road America which you've just seen this driver survived with no cuts and bruises along with the driver in France. if you look at the lemans track a few years back they have one less turn becuse of that incident with the CLK. they call it the porsche cicane because the Porsche was the first to flip like that in.
