How are you Doing Trent. I really love and apreciate all the info you have been going promotors. I was wondering if you would like to network with me and my Company Soulfulnights. Would you mind if we promote your video blog on the events portion of my site and also cross promote your website. You have a lot of useful information for promoters and I feel that the viewers of my site would really take to the info you are putting out
alright..one more question..and when meeting with an owner at a new venue..who is unfamiliar of your past promotion history..what do you recommend bringing to the meeting to increase the chances of getting a promoter deal
@kelsport92 Bring your A game! Speak with confidence, do a little name dropping, and let them know they'd be better off with you than without you, Quote numbers you've done in the past, etc etc. Be a salesman...or woman
I know this isn't exactly the same subject of your video...but im 18 and just now starting to get into promoting at a very small venue that can hold maybe 400 people tops and have been throwing parties that get very close to capacity..i am afraid of two things...what do i do make sure people dont get bored of the events i throw after attending so many? and also how should i go about finding another bigger venue to host events at?
@kelsport92 You can use themes, guest DJs, and co-promoters to help keep things fresh. After awhile, if you see your crowd consistently growing, then find a bigger location.
