  • My favorite line in movie history 3:12

  • He has become so Christ-like that he doesn't understand why people pity him. To Valjean, doing the right and sacrificial thing is such an obvious choice that it merits envy instead of jealousy (even if he would rather none of it had come to pass).

And yes, Richard Jordan was one of the best actors ever. Even his role in "Logan's Run" is memorable.

  • This is my favorite version of "Les Miserables". Richard Jordan is one of my favorite actors, rest his soul. Thank you for posting this which I haven't seen since it first aired.

  • William Squire, who plays the magistrate here, voiced Gandalf in the 1978 Ralph Bakshi version of "Lord of the Rings". Squire's co-star Christopher Guard, who voiced Frodo in that version, also stars here as Marius.

  • They don't make actors like this anymore.

  • That last line....about pity and envy...

    I love this movie :)

  • PLEEEZ Post more of this!
