I am waiting for one that runs without wires and motors attached. If this worked, Howard Johnson could easily demonstrate it and everyone could see it. But that has been put off for 30 years, so far. There are always wires going somewhere that we don't see and motors to run the thing. Let's see it really work then we will believe. It is SO EASY to convince people. Just do it. All the hiding behind weasel words means SCAM ALERT. No body want to "accept" it. SCAMMER!

@mr1000rx I bought MuMetal shielding. it doesn't work because it's magnetic and interacts with the stators. That's the same with all shielding materials.

motors require a osc rotating magnetic / sine wave feild in them. with out this rotating field you have a paper weight. cheack out the Kundel Magnetic Motor here on youtube he has 3 videos

I've made a replicate of FM motor too, i got it spinning much longer period than yours in this video but still couldn't get it to start spinning like the actual one. but I still have faith in it

i shall make a video clip soon after i reassemble it. (i have taken it apart for i needed the magnets for another experiment)

What a shocker it didnt work. Just hate ppl (no not you Eltimple) that put out vids on youtube with things that "seem" to work just because they (obviously) have put a motor or whatever in it so it "works". This only make ppl more stupid then they already are because they believe pretty much anything they see here due to lack of any common sense at all, among many other things, and thus for example accept simple things that are in complete opposite to the laws of physics.

What you need to realize is that magnetic fields are toriodal in shape not linear. This one simple fact is the reason why no magnet motor can ever possibly work. The fact that magnetic fields merge with attracting magnetic fields and deform repelling magnetic fields is yet another aspect that simply ruins any chance of this ever working.

2 Brushless motor. Inrunner and Outrunner. Put 2 systems together. And use a Motor controller for the Inrunner. when the inrunner is running, the outrunner is producing el. Please Research............ And share thank you... :-)

In the original FM magnet motor, I noticed one of the stator magnets was raised higher than the other stator magnet. Try this new idea, maybe it'll work.

I just noticed something; see the video called "Simple Slide View for FM Concept Magnet Motor". There appears to be a broken magnet in the arrangement at 0:16. Maybe you should break one and that one might become the switch that will make it turn... remember that HJ used to cut his magnets also. just a thought.

Laws of perpetual mouvement machines :

1- they don't need inicial impulse to start running.

2- once running they don't stop unless brake is aplied.

3- they work without electric wires/motors attached.

4- and finaly... they don't work, whatever you do.

It says in the original specs that the rotor was made of non magnetic stainless steel. that in itself would give a significant mass to the rotor acting as a flywheel. cant quite call it a faithful replication untill ALL of the original specs have been met.

Mayb Can't use Plastic on rotor coz original is like AL aloy this material not oni add on Mass its also act as pole Shielding aswell... :))

same test on the Top part of the VHS Tape head with the magnet internal n coil taken out, coz there ve a Preventive slot for weight ubalance...Hope u can come out with something ... (original look like AL alumminium or SS)

I want to believe but not sure but I did notice something from the original pictures. The magnets that are facing inwards are touching and also the last magnet bent inward is not pointing directly center.. It is off center.. Get that one correct and the other inward ones will follow. In addition, it looks as if your spacing is too far apart. I am going to check pictures some more with 3D program and description on peswiki*com to get correct dimensions etc.. And will post what I find.

Yes , most materials are diamagnetic, Ali or graphite repell, as for a true shield the best is a material called MU metal.. but a field cannot disappear , it must be redirected by field shapeing. Not as easy as it sounds

The original has a stainless steel wheel supposedly non magnetic and according to directions from inventor any non magnetic material would surfice. As for eddy currents effects in the metal who knows. This concept was re-build 3 times with left hand, right hand spirals and hundreds of spacings , but i was sceptical to start with, so perhaps thats why it didn´t work lol..

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but in the original video, the 2 magnets on the base are not set at the same height, one is sliiighty lifted up, did you set yours up like that I can't see.

My concept is a little of the same but only with 1 bottom magnet and a heavy flywheel that will overcome the "gate" by shear inertia.

thanks for building this model from fm. the video he has looks convincing. i have been working on it also and plan to put a video up. but from what i see in your demo, it looks like another set up locking up with the magnetic gate. 5*'s for your build and posting.
