hhe q: you know any way to test concentration of h2so4? there got to be some way.. i still got around 1 liter of the damn clothes killer 37% and then around 5 ml of unknown concentration :S:S
Well to test wether you actually have sulphuric acid, add barium nitrate -> percipates barium sulphate.
And to test the concentration, take an accurate 10mL volume of sulfuric acid and weigh it. Look up the molar weight. Concentrated sulphuric acid contains 18 moles per liter, 18millimol per milliliter :P
i know i got h2so4 ^^ ask my pants and my shirt q; and it did react with the sugar.. but really really really slowly so.. 1 mol sulfuric acid weight... 1 gram? :S i dont really know alot about that stuff.. the things we learn in school.. is about how to make a fucking magnet spin... -.-* very useful.. because! then we can generate energy! bah.. but ill try to see if i can find out something about it..
For example, concentrated sulfuric acid is 18M, which means, 18moles per liter. And that is the same as 18 millimoles per milliliter. One liter concentrated would weigh 98.08*18 = 1675grams (minding significance), and one milliliter should weigh 1675mg, or 1,675g. 10mL is the easiest to measure and ofcourse should weigh 16,75g.
a virus makes a computer die because it cant find any answer in its question.. you just fixed my head ^^ thnx! (: so ill weight how much 10 ml weights.. tomorrow if my mom is gone there too..
nice.. i was just sitting here and thinking about doing this too.. but then .. where the hell is my kmno4? D= damn you mom :(

Well; the molar mass of H2SO4 is 98.08 g/mol.
