nice quitar.been looking for something like this. what kind of pick-ups? are they split coil?looked in musicians friend but couldnt find it.wanted to know the price tag .thanks.
Still got your telecaster? does that piss you off that I keep asking you that? I want to buy it. that's all. If that's the one that has the s1 switch and the locking tuners and strap locks. I'll check in every 3 to 6 months or so...for the rest of your life. You'll have to get a restraining order.
hey! i saw you also had a tele palo escrito I also have one and i was just wondering how does it fair up against an american made tele? thanks alot and lovely playing by the way
Two different animals in this case. Single coils vs. Humbuckers. The Palo is very much a traditional type of Tele with plenty of pop & twang where it counts. The FSR trancends the traditional tele tone; but if you need that traditional tone it is not the one to have.
The Palo has very good/excellent build quality. I was forunate enough to get one with an outstanding grain pattern. The neck is pure 60's reissue, a little heavy on the vintage tint. The FSR though is probably my favorite of the two.
I just bought the FSR American chambered mahogany tele...pure magic. Man that's a hot axe! I love it! I like yours too...really keeps that tele tone with a little bit o' fat in the middle. Great, great guitar.
Hey man, I think I may have asked this before but, does your guitar have the button on one of the knobs that does the parallel option (that probably nobody uses) and the locking tuners?
i bought this same guitar and am thrilled to have it on my stand, awsome sound perfect intonation awsome finnish great neck profile,PS i bought a standard deluxe teli and returned it ,action was terible,scrtaches/dings case was damaged right out of the box from fender, cost me considerably more for this one but well worth the extra coin i rate this American deluxe HH FMT a definate 10 =) if u find one u wont be disappointed !!!
This is a great guitar. sonically it is well balanced. I have compared it toe to toe with the American Deluxe QMT and this one sounds better. For some reason it it is more expressive and sensitive, better tone all the way around. Unfortunately MF has finally sold out on these. Of course these opinions are strictly my own.
I value your opinion, you have one in your home. Thanks for the input. I will take it for what it is and make my own call. I am thinking about the new American Standard Tele. Any thoughts? Anyhoo, I love your Tele.
I am interested in these Telecasters. Did you test drive these along with standard Teles and decidedon this one? Did you buy this guitar because it accepts distortion better? I would love your input, I am getting close to dropping on a new American Tele, but I don't want to have a huge sonic letdown when I put my Les Paul down and start playing the Telecaster. Nome sain?
I bought this sight unseen as it was offered on MF as their stupid deal of the day. MF has since sold out. I have not regretted the decision. I own several Fenders and this one is almost my favorite. Because I very lightly use vibrato/tremelo I usually end up taking my Strat to gigs. With the summer months coming, larger venues and more stage room will occur allowing me to bring two axes and know that Tele's going to be right there.

yeah i realised that but what i meant was in build quality and comfort how do these two fair up when it comes to build wood etc?

Show off! :)
...humbucking pickups... I'm just jealous really. Guitars are so inexpensive across the pond. Sounds great however...
