On another note: Anyone notice that Arthas seemed to be a complete prick prior to setting foot in Northrend? It always seems like he's being portrayed as a good guy gone bad, but really...I didn't see much of a transition except for he went form Prince Dick to King Dick.
Doesn't this seem like this could be a trailer for a hardcore new game? I would totally buy it. It's EPIC! If only it had a little bit better graphics, this would look like a SICK GAME!!!

@jay1998ers bcuz from what i have witnessed from the game of warcraft 3 he was corrupted by frostmourne the sword he gets in the campaign and was driven mad by its power sending him to do what the sword wanted him to do not what he wanted so in a way he let the sword take control. idk where the sword came from if some1 else can please eloborate on the histoyr of frostmourne all i know is that its a way for the burning legion to use the lich king for world dominance haha but thats all i can say

@Chem1kill Basically, Frostmourne and the armor were created by the Nathrezim, and Kil'jaeden used them to hold the Lich King's (Ner'zhul) soul. Ner'zhul placed the blade there, basically as bait for Arthas. Arthas took the bait, and the Lich King used Arthas to be freed from his prison, and be one again. Once Arthas put on the armor, Ner'zhul was complete, and his soul and Arthas' combined into one entity.

Blizzard is making a world of warcraft movie. The release date is not known yet,but, they announced they were making a movie. The only sad part is that it will be mainly a Live action movie.

@Evilxcloud I bet they would like to make movie with this cinematic style, but it would so ridiculously long and expensive project that it wouldn't ultimately be worth it. Blizzard is business company like any other, these cinematics seen here have taken many years to make alone, let alone 2 hour long movie would take 10 years.

when I started the campaign I was given the impression that Arthas was your typical fantasy hero, young, blond and handsome a prince as well. When he received the cursed blade frostmourne my impression of his character changed abit, from hero to maybe anti hero? someone who now has to fight against the evils of the blade and use it for good.
But the ending was absolutely shocking when I first saw it, I had never expect him to turn FULLY EVIL.
Look how many guards were there nobody tried to stop him and how the fuck Arthas left the kingdom once he killed his father did they just let him go or he ran away immediately. i know dread lord summand him but that was way latter.
@trilerkiler he killed everyone and destroyed the kingdom, then the scourge inhabited the "Ruins of Lordaeron" . Some time later Arthas lost his control of the scourge in Lordaeron and they became the Forsaken, and they now live under the Ruins of Lordaeron which is called Undercity. He didnt run away. If you listen he says "This Kingdom will fall, and from the ashes will rise a new order, one that will shake the very foundations of the world." He is refering to destroying Lordaeron

Is it only me who find it strange that, Terenas is not showing any sight of anger after Arthas slaughtered Stratholme population and took (and lost) entire army without the kings permision to Northrend? And why Terenas Didn't asked what happened to the Arthas hammer, the symbol of the silver hand?
@Raveli well after Arthas took the crown of the lich king, he went in the Emerald dream, so Arthas was still Arthas for the most part, but you are right, the Ner'Zhul's evil and orkish rage also burned in his veins, because Ner'zhul was still under the influence of the contract with Manoroth. I think that that's the part that made arthas more evil.

@jaspertheking4life If I remember correctly the only cities that fell directly to the Scourge were Lordaeron and Dalaran. Stratholme was already pretty much an abandoned and gutted ruin when the Scourge crept in, due to Arthas' culling. Other cities like Alterac and Stromgarde fell for entirely different reasons.

@Evilxcloud I bet they would like to make movie with this cinematic style, but it would so ridiculously long and expensive project that it wouldn't ultimately be worth it. Blizzard is business company like any other, these cinematics seen here have taken many years to make alone, let alone 2 hour long movie would take 10 years.

when I started the campaign I was given the impression that Arthas was your typical fantasy hero, young, blond and handsome a prince as well. When he received the cursed blade frostmourne my impression of his character changed abit, from hero to maybe anti hero? someone who now has to fight against the evils of the blade and use it for good.
But the ending was absolutely shocking when I first saw it, I had never expect him to turn FULLY EVIL.

the two guards were falric and marwyn, and were possessed as well. they went to kill the rest of the government in lorderean city.
you can see that they follow him outside. at 1:15 they are behind him; they kill all the guards around arthas while he kills the king.

@trilerkiler he killed everyone and destroyed the kingdom, then the scourge inhabited the "Ruins of Lordaeron" . Some time later Arthas lost his control of the scourge in Lordaeron and they became the Forsaken, and they now live under the Ruins of Lordaeron which is called Undercity. He didnt run away. If you listen he says "This Kingdom will fall, and from the ashes will rise a new order, one that will shake the very foundations of the world." He is refering to destroying Lordaeron

@Raveli well after Arthas took the crown of the lich king, he went in the Emerald dream, so Arthas was still Arthas for the most part, but you are right, the Ner'Zhul's evil and orkish rage also burned in his veins, because Ner'zhul was still under the influence of the contract with Manoroth. I think that that's the part that made arthas more evil.

@jaspertheking4life If I remember correctly the only cities that fell directly to the Scourge were Lordaeron and Dalaran. Stratholme was already pretty much an abandoned and gutted ruin when the Scourge crept in, due to Arthas' culling. Other cities like Alterac and Stromgarde fell for entirely different reasons.
