  • I bet that thing eats alot of fuel in a day..

  • See even the two cylinder lovers want six cylinders

  • Holy shit! Do they make any bigger than 16?

  • That's an awesome tractor I saw it in person at Little falls,mn at the Greater Minnesota Two Cylinder Swap Meet and Show. One hell of a machine.

  • Jeez, you would need some headland to turn that JD collection around !!!

  • There are going to two big dead furrows where that old steam case was plowing. That will make that ground a bitch to work.

  • Don uses this tractor in his day to day farming operations. he has 2 sheds full of green. he even has a mod pulling deere with a cross-mounted ford 428

  • Am I the only one with my jaw on the floor?

  • That may be the coolest tractor I have ever seen!

  • Oh man, give me the case anyday. And I own a Deere.

  • j0hn deere 2264

  • yes i know this is an older tractor but one thing is why do it + old steam tractors can pull 20 bottom plows and those things are from the late 1800's to early 1900's

  • @generalleejesse Because a steam engine makes so much torque and steam engine's weigh so much. You cant stop a steam engine under a load without braking it.

  • @farmall3952 true i knew that but why get rid of them

  • Somebody got way too much time on their hands.

  • the the 830's pony motor started? Greg.

  • i like the case steamer real nice would'nt mind running of them :)

  • Either that trailing 830 wasn't even running, or it wasn't working hard. I didn't see anything coming out of its stack.

  • Check out the video of it at a tractor pull. The trailing 830 was at idle for part of the pull. When he engages the clutch it starts smoking like the others.

Good catch though, I've watched this a few times and never really paid attention to that.

  • would be nice if the steamer operator could follow the old furrow..

  • Amazing video. I know it's a stupid question, but what are all those people doing standing on the first plough.

  • It's an old-time plow where you have to manually raise and lower it, so the guys just ride on it to lift and lower at the ends of the field.

  • Ive never seen that before.Wow neat!

  • I've seen plenty of doubles in action. Heard of triples but never actually seen one being used. that things a beast. I'd love to move some ground with that thing. think of what they could do with triple 9630s

  • no kiddin

  • nice video! That is one big set up and I agree that it could pull hell up by the roots!

  • I do believe that the triple 830 could pull hell up by the roots if you had a chain strong enough

  • Listening to those three old 830's from afar they sound like a huge 3 cylinder Polaris sled when stuck together like that.

And the old CASE sounds awsome too. I like how it sounds pretty much like a steam locomotive meant for farm use. Heh.

  • SWEET!! Ive seen two 2cyl hooked together, but never 3 5*

  • Nice to see that old Case steamer chuffing along too!

  • As a kid growing up around 830s, 80s, and...I'll never forget as a knee-high kid walking out of the gas station local general store when an old timer came tooling up on a Case or Advanced steamer right towards me and the door. I never saw anything like it. Dropped my bag of gumballs, candy and everything and didn't quit runnin until I got home, over the barbed wire and through the fields because the devil drove up breathing fire. What I wouldn't give to have a Rumley or such now.

  • awsome tractor but how good are the hydrolics? and it probably wouldnt be good for pto work because you only get the rear engine for that or are they have a shaft running from the front tractor tot he middle then the back that would be the ultamate thing and awsome use of a sound guard cab off a 4wd deere u must need some sound proofing when they all get workin hard! and does it have A/C?

  • Glad you like it!

  • I finally get to see some videos of the triple 830 in action. Very nice and thanks for uploading the video!!

  • Wow, what an interesting setup!
