  • An awful lot of recycle stuff went in the waste side there, still it's the same over here in the UK, people put more recyclables in the waste than they put out for recycling...

  • lol, was that a Bong that went in at 5.12....

  • @binmanzed

    sorry at 5.21 lol

  • Seems like people don't recycle much, their is still many recycles cardboard and plastic container on trash side. But you still don't pick it up put on recycle side lol.

  • kinda figured sense Amrep is based in CAL but do you have Wittkes out their and dose anthying still say BFI out thier besides the carts? GREAT PACKER SHOTS

  • do you have single stream recycling and did you use to work for BFI and i might get a job with AW when i am 17 as a cart guy no CDL and dose AW out their have Amreps or no Lobe this vid nice packer footage

  • @AlliedWaste76 We are single stream and the Amreps are a west coast thing. I did work for BFI before allied and republic took over. You should have no trouble getting a job with AW

  • Nice video!! do you still have the same truck? Nice packer video

  • @AlliedWaste76 I do not use this truck anymore. I use the resi front and a side loader if thats broke down

  • I like the shot just after the hopper load of black Glad trash bags with red drawstrings, where you have what looks like about 6 or 8 black Hefty bags with yellow drawstrings...looks like someone threw out a blanket in the bag that falls in front of the ram and gets squisehd squarely into the waiting trash.

  • So much recycling in the garbage section, it kills me to see that. But great hopper cam.

  • Dude nice video my favorite part was the hopper cam

  • i like dat truck but trash n recycle p/u at da same time 2 much wrk i wrk at republic serives dallas we dnt have trucks like dat here but fort worth does n dare union hay chck my channel out sumtimes bre du u sill wrk dare?

  • @MrGunSlanga I only pick up about 300 homes so its not that hard of work. I do still work for the AW

  • We have a 60/40 37 yard Labrie at my site...Labrie says the 60 side will hold 8 tons of trash. I haven't taken it out yet so I'm not sure how true that is...

  • @KFCOrBust Yup we packed out the trash side to see what it would hold. Tops out at about 8.4 tons.

  • lol I get the same truck except not split body.

  • wow! I think this is th first hopper view of a split side loader I've ever seen! nice!

  • did the trash die?

  • Very nice video i enjoyed thanks...5 Stars and saved to favorites

  • nice video 5 stars.

  • 6:15 did you dump a recycle cart on the trash side, or are people to stupid to put recycle in the recycling cart?

  • Comment removed

  • Great video... there was alot of recycling thrown into the garbage side becasue ppl dont recycle alot.. hopefully they give u a single stream route or garbage route soon :)

  • If people recycled everything they could, I would have to put the trash on the 40 side and recyclables on the 60s side

  • just like sf

  • why cany you guys take out the loose recyclables from the trash

  • who was operating the lift at the beginning?

  • Ahhhh, so that solves the mystery, and is the solution of who made that one cart in my latest ESD Trash Series!! And googling it here real quick that looks about right, with those Cascade-like wheels....Thanks for the answer mcbombtings!!!!

  • Your welcome. BTW which video in the series are you refering to...I didn't see any Millennium carts in the ESD series?

  • It was in a pic at the end of ESD Trash part 3

  • Now that's fantastic!! Looks like a super fun truck to use, and such great angles there, in full HD! Still saw a lot of recycling going into the trash compartment though....Did you have some other driver holding the camera for those exterior shots? Loved it all the way, absolute fav and feature!!

  • Absolutely terriffic work, this footage kicked arse! Loved the moments following 5:17 with the popping bag and seeing all the trash tumbling outta the carts - has to be one of my favourite shots of an MSL :) Nice mix of some different angles during the video, liked them all. Could literally watch this hopper footage all day, very much enjoyed! The packer seems to deal well with all that trash that gets dumped in that section of the hopper. Would definitely love to see more of this truck!!!

  • Thanks guys. Will have more to come once this weather breaks. Been very rainy here lately.

  • No problem. Which Zarns did you think they were?

  • too much carboard on the trash side make for some crappy loads you could put more if you really want too pack the shit outta of it regular side loader is better can make 1 load recycle 2 trash maybe 3

  • Those are 95-Gal Otto Millennium Carts

  • Your right except they are only 90 gallon carts

  • It is a cool truck. Im not sure who makes the cart tipper but I will try and find out and get back to you. This is not my permanent truck, its only being used in an experiment right now to see how the truck handles the routes.

  • I hope it becomes your permanent truck! Btw that lifter is made by Industrial Lifters. Model LDA-330.

  • Thanks, I knew someone would know

  • Nice one there. At 2"38, did you turned on the rpm increase control on to speed up the packing despite the packer was on already?

  • Yeah for some reason the speed inhibitor was pressed in. i must have bumped it somehow

  • this was so cool, i was worried when the other side of hopper was open thinking the trash would fall onto the street...does that ever happen? it seemed to stay in pretty well

  • by the way...that looks like a pretty old beat up BFI Heil parked next to your truck!

  • Awesome job! This truck is even cooler than I imagined! I want one! Haha. Just curious as to why the street side hopper door was open...for footage purposes or do you pick both sides of the street?

  • Thanks. Yeah the street side door was open for no reason in the beginning. No trash fell out of that side. It seems to just fall perfectly into the hoppper. The FEL in the background is pretty rough. It runs good but just needs alittle paint.

  • does this truck have a crusher panel?

  • watch at 8:33

  • o ok.now i see it

  • Thanks. Im not sure what was in that bag. Wish it ripped or popped to see what it was.

  • grrrrrrreat this is a fav

  • Excellent job! I was just curious, do you ever feel like pulling some of the recycle from the garbage to save space on the garbage side? I know it's time consuming, so it's probably not worth the hassle, but it just doesn't seem like the recycle side would ever fill up with the amount of garbage you pick up. Great video on a unique truck 5*

  • Great question. I will sometimes pull cardboard or phone book or cans and bottles out of the trash tote and toss it in the recycle side not only to save room on the trash side but it feels like the right thing to do. I dont dig though the tote looking but if i see it on top I will grab it quickly

  • Glad to hear it! Thanks for the answer.

  • Since we've started with Recycle Bank I've been doing some of that too. If I pull up to a stop that has a recycle cart, and its not full, I will quickly grab whatever is handy out of the hopper to throw in the recycle cart. The more they have in the cart, the more points they get, and its a little less in my truck so it all works out. Doesnt make much of a difference when I do that but I do it anyway when possible.

  • Thanks Erik. You inspired me to make it. lol. I accidentially clicked on remove to your last post instead of reply. YT should not has them that close to each other. I have more random footage in the works for another movie but waiting for more footage to make it better. I didnt realize it at first but the cart tipper is pretty fast even more witht the speed-up going. It actually handles bulky items better than i though. Just today i put in 2 bedroom type doors, and hockey table, and a toilet.

  • Using the bags of garbage and the crusher panel, this truck tears it up without hesitation. IM told not to put bulk into the truck in fear the chutes will be damaged but i was curious. I know what ou mean about the recyling. The more put in the recycling, the more room for trash. I didnt realize till watching this video on how much recycling people trow out. At least now the people that throw out bags of soda/beer cans and bottles i can recycle.

  • just a few seconds ago i was thinking about this truck. nice video
