Also wanted to add that, because they all wear different style and color clothing, their moves don't look harmonious and moves are not emphasized. They tried to win it with the 'cool' factor but it looks like they made up the routine at the last minute.

Boring except the smooth operator. In group dances, there are certain routines that work and don't work. They used alot of detail movements, which only look good with individual dances. But combine those movements with a big group and it looks messy. There's nothing that stands out. It just looks like a group of people flailing their arms and legs around.

For me this performance didnt live up to the past two years of Kaba but it still was a good performance.

The first few seconds with Hikari's whacking was nice. Then it got a little boring but from Smooth Operator on it was hot.

At least Kaba Modern Legacy came and showed that Kaba is still the best.

Agreed. Even though imo Kaba was best in its early years they are still amazing. Plus Geo is a beast when it comes to breaking routines. Andrew Tran is also great.

CADC, Team Millenia, PAC Modern, Kaba Modern, Sick Step (well, they're mostly Asian, don't know if it's Asian based), Kappa Zeta Phi and Formality.

I'd like for someone to explain HOW they DIDN'T place with this good of a routine. I mean, CADC ripped the shit out of the box, but honestly, I think Kaba should've at least placed.

Truthfully, I didn't care much for this performance compared to their performance last year (THEN they should've won instead of TM).

CADC started the showing with an amazing and original number which blew me away instantly, their middle had some really cool parts and I loved the ending.

This performance felt a little messy and not as intricate and unique as I would usually expect from Kaba Modern.

lol but you gotta remember, it isn't the same team. If you look at their choreo expecting Tony Tran or Mike Song's choreo, then you'll be disappointed. Their lead coords have a completely different style than the coords last year, and while I do love Tony and Mike's choreo especially, I don't count it against this team at all for not being AS intricuit. My favorite coord so far is Shawn Duong, but Hikari's wacking is insane. I dunno, I found the whole thing pretty together.

Also, in response, I the choreo was MUCH more together than their first choreo pieces. When this team first debuted, they were far from together, but they improved enough to have placed in this competition.

No. Kaba Modern was originally a filipino club but then they began having other race's join. the ones on ABDC were not filipino but they still represented Kaba Modern. I'm pretty sure that everyone in this video was not ALL chinese but merely just a whole group of other azn Nationailties combined making up a great show! ^__^ ako.
