  • Again, fucking fantastic. Any chance you can do this kind of dissection to a Blur song? Maybe "For Tomorrow"? Sorry for clogging up your request count.

  • Daniele!!! nice to hear from you again!

    Excellent build-up, bravo

  • Brilliant.

  • Excellent sounds and great job at multi-tracking it. I just wish you'd have gotten all the parts right.

  • Oh my.. esto es alusinante! Good job.

  • Brilliant!!

  • I was going to ask if this was at all brought about by the Smiths now being on iTunes, but then I remembered who I was watching.

  • I thought you were dead for a while there. Didn't really think that just maybe you've been too busy to make anything new lately. xD

The Ask multitrack breakdown in my opinion is a lot more impressive. I don't think it has anything to do with how you're playing it, but it's more along the lines of how many tracks it takes to recreate the full sound, which is something you can't really control. Ask's 3 wins over WDDIM's 11.

  • @FriedGold8942 : I've read a few interviews where Marr said that in later Smiths records, he learned to achieve better sounds despite using fewer tracks -- Ask came out a few years after this track, so I guess it makes sense

  • Excellent job as always Daniel!!!
