nice math moron.......except you forgot that you will go through how many incandescents in the time of one cfl?, having to buy and change them constantly,(i understand your time isnt worth anything, but mine is), not to mention, you will spend well over 2.80 replacing all of those old school bulbs every year, and in hot climates, the heat from those old bulbs also wastes your cooling money....5 years I havent changed a bulb yet, that alone is worth the money.......
im sick of energy saving the whole world has been scared of "global warming" ever since stupid al gore ran for president then started doin his global warming speaches/videos
Nice. But if you wanna see how to REALLY save electricity (and some dough) enough to notice immediately, see my video and visit this site - ELECTRIC BILL DISCOUNT DOT COM
What applikcation exactly do you need 100watts of light for? Oh, and btw, light is not measured in watts, the wattage of a bulbs is just how much work is being done to start up and keep going whatever is producing that light.
btw, your not going to believe this man, but i was thinking about buying cfl bulbs the other day, and youve just persuaded me to do so!!!.... thanks so much for the reply!
28 kilowatts or $2.80 how much does a CFL cost? you never make your money back. Plus CFL contain mercury which is harmful to the environment.

Led bulbs are even better!

I agree. It's harder to find an LED to give off as much light as 100W bulb.
