Went to St Lucia in 1979. It was poor byt the people were absolutely wonderful. Went back in 2005, place is more prosperous but tourism has taken the island's soul. Oh well. Always a place in my heart!!

@hereHehereHE I am not from St Lucia but I can tell you its a very safe place and the people are extremely friendly and helpful. The island is just amazing. Have you been to St Lucia? I guess not, so don't make stupid comments!
