For the first portion of the game (chapter 1) with hugo, he is more affective with Fubar. it's better to have him mounted on Fubar so they do a lot more damage.

Of Course! In Suikoden 2, Lucia was supposed to be recuitable but since pesmerga, the persistent one, had to be also in suikoden 2, he had to replace Lucia.. He's a mysteriously one, in hopes of finding Yuber.

In Suikoden 3 there are 4 main persons. You can play the story line from 4 different points of view.

-Hugo, Son of Lucia, Chieftain of the Caraya Tribe

-Chris Lightfellow, Knight Lady from Zexen

-Geddoe, Captain of a mercenary Group

-Thomas, Budehuc Castle Master.

Suikoden III happens 15 years after Yuikoden II. Lucia is now the Chief of Karaya and Hugo is her son.

ChaosDistortionBlade its kinda obvious that hugo would get it since Geddoe already has the True Lightning and Chris is the daughter of the man whohad the True Water plus the fighting scene with the fire dragon in the opening hints to it. And agree with u ASephiroth Lucia is a better ally the enemy plus in this game she's really sexy.

Hugo is the one who is supposed to get the True Rune of Fire according to the Manga, so you made a good choice, ASephiroth
