@evilpoptart18 It's a technique called vamping. One tongue blocks, and removes their tongue for very brief durations from the body of the harp. So usually, just one note is sounding, but the rhythm you hear is for that short time that the tongue is removed, opening up a chord.

@Averagekiddd of course man, it doesnt mean a thing lol, I forgot the comas, is tongue blocked octaves, and vibrato, so for octaves you use the tongue and blowin harder in order to make the note go up, and vibrato well.. thats like jimmy hendrix guitar lol

hey agelmar, kim actually uses several harps. One being a lee oskar major diatonic. Has amazing tone..you can see him using it in this video here. I do know he also uses a marine band, but the other one I do not remember. That mic also contributes alot to his sound as well..its a bullet mic.

That was an amazin bit of harp playing, pulling almost all the chops on that one, the only one that is missing is playing without hands. Not too many harp players play without hands though, I have only seen Sonny Boy Williamson and Little Charlie's harp player doing it. Great playing, love me some Kim Wilson.
