This anime's plot is pretty twisted, ("Spoiler Alert") If humming bird's brother wasnt injured so badly he couldve told igarashi about shiro having the branch of sin ability, thus pulling all the pieces together and revealing her true identity as the "Red Man". Too bad this anime got cut short though, one of the best J-Rock themed OP's Ive heard in a while.
@ZBxRaptor92 Well the manga is still ongoing from what Ive read, so im fairly certain a season 2 will come out eventually, but its a matter of waiting and the assumption that demand/popularity is going too be enough.

Makina was going vigilante... we get nothing of how she progressed.
Ganta wimps out, mans up and wimps out over and over again making him an extremely dislikable character.
Shiro's legs magically fix themselves. Shiro gets up looking like she was going to snap... never happens. Both her and Ganta get similar blood tattoos out of nowhere, but then that disappears
@DeStryke51 Ganta wanted to get revenge on the Promoter and Wretched Egg... never happens.. Ganta wanted to escape from prison... he decides to stay instead. Wtf is up with that?
@Daeldalus1989 Yeah, they could have made up the rest and killed the Promotor and learn more about the Wretched Egg eventually, but they didn't do that.

@DeStryke51 the problem with the ending was that they tried to end the whole show about 1/4th of the way through what the manga had intended it to be.
lots of unanswered questions because there is way more to the story
i hope they make another season in order to address all that
