Mr. Harms is incorrect regarding mortgage calculations being done from tables in a book prior to the 12C's arrival in 1981. The HP 80 financial calculator was introduced in 1973, followed by the HP 22 in 1975, the HP 38E in 1978, and HP 38C (continuous memory) in 1979. All of these calculators could perform mortgage calculations.
There are plenty of HP16C Emulators out there. You can find the 16C on EBay all of the time. They often sell for $300 to $400 depending on condition. I worked on the Voyager project (HP10/11/12/15/16C) at HP Corvallis in the early 80's This was and is still an exciting product. I use my 12C al of the time.
I love the 12C. Bought a 1983 one from ebay a few years back and it's still going strong. Just bought the platinum version too and that's great also.
RPN is great!

I love my HP calculators - especially the 15C from my college days! Now, how about relaunching the 16C?

@Odin412z There's also a 15C Limited Edition that was just released, but they're not easy to find.

@simbared I got the 15C Limited Edition as well - had to have it! But I still would love a 16C Limited Edition.
