Marino sucks. Namath and Jurgensen were better passers, Montana & Bradshaw & Brady have the hardware. I live in Miami and it is a myth that Marino never had good running backs or defenses. Certainly good enough to win. Shula got in lots of free agents. Marino was a statue in the pocket, and every time he fuc#ed up, he was always bitching & moaning and crying for flags. That's not 'fierceness', it's pathetic. His last game was perfect for him, a 62-7 ass kicking. He couldn't carry Elways jock.

You need to recheck your numbers, the 07 Pats defense gave up PLENTY of points, the Offense carried the Defense that year, and the running game wasn't anything to write home about.

Brady won Suberbowls with scrub receivers while Manning has had ProBowl and HoF talent around him his whole career.

How did Manning's 2 minute drills go during the Superbowl? Oh yeah, he threw a HORRIBLE pick 6 that basically sealed the game.

It is the experience around Brady that he has and the Pats D was ranked 4th overall in 07. It was their best d since 1979. Please take a good look at your stats again because obviously you arent looking at the correct info. Brady has always had a complete team and like I said before he would do nothing if he didnt. You cant judge a player on the success of his team, football is a team sport even more so than other sports eg. you have 3 units special teams, defence, and offence.

it may not be fair, but brady's already a better qb simply because of the rings.  marino's one of the greatest ever and probably would have multiple rings if he had a better team around him, but he didn't. quarterbacks are remembered for winning, plain and simple. brady is a winner, marino never got to the top.

If SB rings are the measuring stick of a great QB, then Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Rothlisberger, Griese, Bradshaw, McMahon, Hostetler, Eli Manning, and many more. Dan never had a running back or defense.
