@martynrobin121 The truth is, America was providing aid to Britain and also Russia. We were already supporting the war effort before we declared war. Second, considering America entered the war DECEMBER 7, 1941, and had troops in Britain by JANUARY 1942, I'd say that was pretty efficient. And most historians agree that even if Britain fell, America would have had the natural resources to win the war-not to mention we were already ahead in nuclear arms development as opposed to the axis powers.

And U.S declared war on Japan not germany they waited for hitler to declare war on them. And if Britain fell U.S would have no chance invading Africa/Britain/Europe they would lose the Axis were miles better tanks weapons and equipment etc and U.S didnt make the nuke alone you know?

@martynrobin121 Though to be fair, Great Britain's RAF did fight hard to defeat the Luftwaffe in the battle of Britain-however, it was their defeats in Russia at the end of '42 beginning of '43, along with the success of Operation Torch- a JOINT American/British effort, which set in motion the defeat of Nazi Germany. Running out of pilots was only problem but the nazis also had that problem they were losing 5-10pilots daily. His invasion was stopped and then he plotted to invade Russia and could have took they easy they took more soldiers prisoner than they had in there army. But hiters gambles costs them the war. After stalingrad and great battle of kursk the Axis were on full retreat. If U.S didnt come into the war the british would have won in north africa and the Russians would have liberated europe.
