The Barrett .50 Cal is not the Intervention used in this video. Later in the game ("Loose Ends") you get to use a .50. It is accurately modeled and sized for a .408 Cal rifle.
The reason the .50 cal is so destructive (especially on animals like goats) is because it's an anti-material weapon: it's used against trucks, Hum Vees, and other lightly armored vehicles and "technicals". It is against NATO policy to use it as an anti-personnel weapon (though surely it happens).
the map looks exactly like here in vancouver wa. same placement of taco bell, burgerville, etc. and even the sign by the bridge says place your ad here. Ill post a video showing the locations when i have time.

I think this level is titled wolverines because of the movie Red Dawn. The high school football team ( named wolverines) fights against the russians when the russians invade their town.
"Materials Resembling Edibles" LOL! I never heard that one before and I have eaten a TON of MRE's. The "barf in a bag" (Chicken A La King) was about the most sickening of them all. When I was in, we didn't get the candy in the MRE. We had the "gorilla cookies" though and when peanut butter was put on them DAMN, were they good.
Wait, the people making this video didn't get the connection between the name of the stage "Wolverines", the Russians invading the US and the movie Red Dawn? Patrick Swazey FTW.
Also, the remake of Red Dawn will most likely blow compared to the original.
i know that may sound abit silly but when i play shootem up games on my pc with a 22 inch flat screen i dont have this problem as i can sorta see the whole screen without haveing to move my eyes around to see whats going on
i love all the call of duty line but i hate online play im not to bad a player in story mode and dont have to much trouble beating the game on veteran .. i just seem to be batterd online most of the time i cant even see the dudes that are shooting at me unless there right by me .. my set up isnt bad 42 inch sony plasma i sometime think the tv is to big as i have to look around the screen to find the target and im normaly dead by time i see them anyone know if a smaller tv would help
It's funny, because pretty much everything Beer Barron says "God, I hope that isn't in Multiplayer", it is. The turret is in multiplayer (Killstreak reward), the heartbeat monitor is in (Weapon Attachment), even Martyrdom make a return (But it's heavily downplayed as a deathstreak item)
This scenario seems like what World In Conflict would look like if it was played in the first person. The story line of The US being invaded by Russians and the Rangers fighting them off with everything they have. Definately some similarities.
"Wolverines" is a reference to an 80's flick called "Red Dawn". The movie was about Russians invading the US, and had the late Patrick Swayze and a young Charlie Sheen in it. The people who were like the resistance fighters in the movie were called "The Wolverines".
@pineapplesand556ers I find it super embarrassing that ANYONE over the age of 20 doesn't know about "Red Dawn". My generation is so disappointing sometimes.
YOUR SUCH A HARDSCOPER , I ALWAYS QUICKSCOPE ALL OF THEM!!!!!! :)

:35 Charms are the "epic fail" candy equivalent included in some MRE's (Materials Resembling Edibles). MRE's with stale M&M's inside = FTW!!!

Ah, the CheyTac [Divine] Intervention LRRS was on Future Weapons!
This rifle was designed with a pure emphasis on extreme long range. So why would you use it in urban combat?
And alas, the EBR never gets any love. :(

Charms (candy on the dashboard) are bad luck for the entire United States Marine Corps, they are included in Humvees during deployments as a joke.

Mobile turret is in multiplayer sadly... as are a lot of other imbalanced things.
MrLaughandgrowfat 2 years ago 2
On a brighter note the turret moves slowly and can be destroyed by knifing it once.

Red Dawn! Seriously, who does not know that? Especially now sine they are making a remake with Tom Cruise's kid.
Or was that just a bad joke that I missed.

Probably because your eyes are much closer to the screen of your PC than to the screen of your TV.

The russians.
At the airport you were killed by Makarov and when they found your body they probably thought that the US was behind that attack.

Charms are candy that comes in MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) and you DO NOT eat the Charms. They are bad luck and you dump them.
Also, you lose points for not having seen Red Dawn. It's worth the time to find and watch.
