@smellmyclock they can't both be fun? I'm pretty sure that anything that paint ball can do airsoft can do as well. If you want your gun to sound more realistic and loud i'm almost certain you can get some kind of amplifier for the sound. If carrying "heavy stuff" makes you fell like a badass then by all means grab a vest and throw some weights in there.

HMM i love milsim. i play more urban milsim (SWAT team member) but i'd love to throw down a legit woodsball style milsim game. the could have done a stagger ambush. one team on each side of the road, one about 50 ft above the other, so you can cover all sodes of the vehicle and still not have to worry about cross-firing your buddies.

I just wish that paintball would use gas magazines instead of Hoppers and tanks, like the blowback airsoft guns. If they did, Id be all into paintball, but Ill stick with airsoft for now.

They do have paintball guns that use magazines instead of hoppers. The air tanks go into the butt stock so it doesn't take away from the milsim look. They also have a type of ammunition that resembles live ammunition but its only available to military and elite law officers for training purposes.

lol yea that is a pretty steep price, but it's kinda worth it though. Plus not all of them are that high up in price. I personally wouldn't pay that much though. I've only put about $200-$300 into my marker to give it a milsim look.

thats very true, we were split into two ambush teams leapfrogging the ambushes on a preset route, we wanted to bump the vehicle at a distance so we could quickly bug out and stay ahead of them. At 3.50 we did a L shape ambush but the vehicle surged forward, you can see at 3.54 a guy running away from the vehicle but the lads in and around the vehicle also got hit from the side.

i had the same question. is there more detail to the rules regarding the FFDs, like a limit to how many times u can be healed? ive never seen or heard of that kinda healing before watching this.

Usually we have 3 bandages each, the original reason for starting the medic, was that the games we play usually for about hour and the medic system allows players hit to get back into the game. If the battle moves on and there's no chance of someone rescueing you, then you goto a regen point.

We've now started using first field dressings which take longer to put on. It does add another element to the game, I've seen some great rescues.

there are different ways to do it, cuz different ppl who run their own games have their special way to do it. the ppl in this video do it with pieces of white cloth tied around the arm to signify how many times they've been eliminated. ive played in games where u lay on the ground if u get shot, and the medic simply runs up to u and tags you, and you're back in the game, and thats probably the most common way. has anyone else played a different way?

It's difficult to find private fields but as more people get involved, you do get the contacts. Normal fields are beginning to cater for this kind of play. Playing privately, you have to been be extra safe as there are no marshalls, newbies need to be coached as they could really injure themselves or someone else, you also have to make sure you have permission from the land owner and clear up after yourselves.

setup is blackhawk chest rig with hydration pouch and other MC pouches from onpatrol in the UK, the ammo pouches were custom made to fit the AT mags. Thanks

sure mate, w dot getrealpaintball dot com, different to the rap4s as they fire .68cal and very accurate because they use a unisizer and it's closed bolt. A bit complicated but performance wise, I haven't seen anything outshoot them. w dot milsimcombat dot com has a thread on them with info and tips.

no ATs I believe are based on a pump marker with semi and full auto fire selector.

Rap4s are 48calibre paintball markers that fire at a much lower joule and use a kind of shell case tube. The mags are spring loaded whereas the ATs are chain driven by the bolt.

Two totally different markers firing different calibre paintballs.

Awsome lookin game guys Love the way ya'll used the truck for sort of a recond scenario that looked extremly fun.

What are the rules? it seems like the medic cant be shot, he should be allowed to, and each soldier should have one rivive they can use incase he does get hit.

Thanks Wraith, appreciate your comments. We're using a medic rule, each player carries two white cotton strips (at one stage, you see 3 players down). Once shot twice, regen. Attacking team if shot moved to next the next bump. I was in the attacking team we split 2x2 and leaped frog the bumps. A5's are great, 2 in the video have ATs, these are brilliant and very accurate but very high maintanence. Thinking about the X7 like the modular set up and reduce weight!
