I like 2 things about your posting : 1, its multi media to keep people's interests, and 2, you express the attributes of those you admire (Classy). Most people just ramble on about who they dislike. I have yet to see an entire episode of "American Idol," but I had to catch up here when I read that someone did Cole Porter's "Night & Day" because that song makes vocalists sweat. And though he doesn't hit all the notes like a hammer on a nail, and though his syncopation is not consistent, Phil's swooping up to the high registers gives it drama. Not bad.

Blake was my # 1 2 weeks ago, he's my # 3 now after last night, I was about to place Melinda above him and nudge him down (she is very good) - however I still think Blake is way better, his performance was just plain hot :)

You can really tell, with classics like these, who can sing and who can't. I honestly love Melinda, but I don't think anyone stood out as being outstanding last night at all. Definitely no Frank Sinatras out there.

Obviously you are blinded by your 'crush' on these three guys. They are decent looking, but I've heard better at local Karaoke. The most talented singer/performer on AI this year is Melinda Doolittle, hands down! The show should really just end and give her the title and contract.

First off, I do think Jordin has talent so thanks for posting. Secondly and more iomportantly, alot of us think Phil is sexy, he has a great build, smile, face and look like a Navy boy ! :) You may not like the no hair look :) but some do :) think about that it's called prefernces. As for you "Uncle Fester" that's pretty mean don't you think ? Chances are his baldness was hereditary. AND third of all, HE CAN SING AMAZINGLY ! Phil for IDOL !!!

Please! Melinda is the best singer this competition has ever seen! PERIOD! Chris is a decent singer but he's not a star. He's just inconsistent.

Chris has had a few inconsistent moments, but I base my decision on overall charm, talent, singing, personality (Simoni is SO right about that) charamatic appeal and interaction with the audience. But hey, it's just my top 3, I am glad you really like Melinda ! thanks for the post.

As for your favorites being the same as last week and the week before, clearly you enjoy them more than the others... but is it really because they're better singers? I doubt it. I won't trust the opinion of anyone who thinks that these three boys have been better than ANY of the girls the last three weeks. C'mon! There are clearly other reasons why you like these three...
