Thanks for the video! I am on week 3 of the medicine and havent touched a cig since i started it! Its hard but now it seems much easier.. thank you for your video again. I wanted to know if real people actually got results!
For all of you who have attempted or thought about quitting cigarettes PLEASE DO. I was a pack a day smoker for 5 years before i switched over to appealing smokes. The transition from a Normal Cigarette to the Electronic Cigarette works wonders. Kicking the Habit is as easy as who Strikes First.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I just got chantix today. I have seen good and bad reviews and really like the good reviews much better so thanks!!
so 9 weeks Cold Turkey for me so far. pretty much just threw them away and used Xanax to take the edge off when I need it. As far as some people stating to Dr's that they become sucidal...If you quit smoking to save your life, why would you stop smoking just to kill yourself?
After 3 days on Zero nicotine your free of it. The only part one has to overcome with time is the minds false feeling of please associated with smoking.
My cravings today are so far apart and last for less than a minute.
I know that it has now bee 1 year since you last posted on here, but just wanted to know how things are going. Thank you for posting your video btw.
I was offered Chantix by my Dr. but she mentioned the possible side effects for some people and mentioned suicidal thoughts and aske me if I thought that I might be that way and I said "Not a chance because when I first go without smokes for the first few days I would so irratable that people would think that I was Homocidal!" 9 weeks 4 me
Last time I tried that stupid drug I ended up in hospital hurting my leg. I stopped smoking , I went cold turkey it is 5 months now. Do not try chantix .
Thank you so much for your message! I've just started taking my medicine and am very positive that it would work! Are u still smoke free? Have a lovely day! ;-)
Thankx for puttin this up! I am about to start the Chantix maybe in a weeks time - not quite ready as yet - but i'll get there - your movie encourages me
Thanks. I assure you that it works...just take the medicine..continue smoking...then in about 7-14 days...the desire just goes away...but get a lot of gum. :)
Way to go. I am 29 years old and had been smoking since I was 15. It has been 1 month and 2 weeks and I still don't want to smoke. I also have asthma and don't want to die young.
I Just quit using Chantix and It took me a week and a half and I am now 4 days smoke free I am so happy with myself and my wife is proud of me since she has been smoke free for two years
You're so welcome....withdrawl symptoms were tolerable with the meds weren't they?...It's been 6 months since I smoked & I still have no interest in it.
Well done mate. I'm in a similar position, been smoking 12 years, 40 a day, & am now starting to feel the effects. I'm going to be stopping after my visit to the docs tomorrow.
I wish you all the luck! The good news is that when I began taking the medicine, I didn't really expect to quit. I thought I'd have argumentative ammunition to defend myself in explaining why I still smoke--I could say that I tried the gum, patch & now the chantix, & nothing could help me quit. The great thing is even with that attitude, the medication made it so easy to quit. Keep me posted on your progress.
Stick with it, it gets easier...even after 2 packs a day for several years---one can quit. I tried the patch & nicotine gum with no success...the only thing that curbed the desire for nicotine was the chantix.
I recomend the 105 peice extra nicotine gum depending on your number of cigarettes usually 10 peices will do the trick per day/ 24 period
