  • beautiful

  • Absolutely beautiful. thank you.

  • What is meaning they're chanting? Buddhists pray to their god Buddha or they talk wish to themself. Talk wish to yourself many time. Only mental ill person does?

  • @MrWrongevolution Buddhist don't see Buddha as a God. They see him as a teacher, you really should look into Buddhism before making such vague statements.

  • @MrWrongevolution You make yourself sound like an ignorant fool.. Open your mind and discover the beauty of this, and maybe look more into Buddhism and the English language. But i must say, i find this much more sane than most other things; Killing in the name of a god, believing in hell, blindly accept an old book as the one and only truth, talk some shit fast while showing some women in bikinis, following fashion etc. This is so divine and relaxing

  • @Entrayalicious I have to agree with you! For some reason westeners seem to think what is taught in the main stream here in the west is the only way that is the right way. Most of these cultures have been around for thousands of years!!!! We are less than five hundred years old, yet main stream America looks down their noses at other faiths that are more strict than Christianiaty! If people would get on the web & look it up before they pass judgement, maybe they wouldn't look like an ASS!!

  • The reason for this life is you learn how to die before dying,

and by doing so realize there is no death.

  • precioso llena de gozo

  • I (try to anyway) chant this daily with my Nichiren Shu practise.

  • Zen isn't Shingon

  • @MountAnalogue

Doesn't mean you can't chant it anyhow!

  • (CONT) also its easy to be the one sitting back and giving advice its different to be the one recieving advice ahahahaha next week when you come across me cussing someone out and threating to burn their house down and shoot them when they run out of the burning house, post me a passsage to let me know my wrong so i can feel REMORSE for my transgression, realiseing my transgression may i REPENT for the dharma i transgressed and VOW REFORM for the future(Bhrama net sutra) peace and love :D

  • @Buddhist1986 I know of some of the passages which you speak. Specifically some allegories of siddhartha as a boy. You may be correct. And I would actually welcome a more formal explanation. But turning aside my comments as unfounded and calling me an idiot for having different ideas is the exact opposite of what it means to teach, and what Gautama stood for in his own way of teaching. And it isnt like to attract potential students and coverts. At least not those that i'd prefer to consort with.

  • @Junoncross sorry i didnt get your message i think the @ throws it off, well friend if you have any qwams about a persons attitude or way they expound the dharma, what i like to do is find verses out of the sutras and when someone goes to far just post a passage where the Buddha is correcting the act..this humbles the other person and makes him come to reflection of his actions,he probley will still hold his views but he will expound it in a different more welcoming manner peace and love.

  • And I guarantee you that I have more of a chance to bring people the dharma than MPCs ideology and techniques.

  • very dear to his heart. But the problem is that the hyper-religious have a much higher statistical likelihood of depression, and are 3x as likely to kill themselves in their lifetimes. In most surveys they are the group who reports more feeling unsure of their religion. They report less happiness and often have shorter lifespans. Call me what you will, but i appeal to logic and try to be as buddha like as I can. When someone asks me what religion i ascribe to, i say zen buddhism, and i -con't-

  • Now those are valid arguments, and i wish i could have done better, but i dont think there are better arguments than that. The problem with MPC's arguments are that he's taken up the mantle of the dogmatic evangelical americans that give us a terrible name and simply yells until the opposition has no energy to care anymore, and then he would accuse you of not caring. He has no room for discussion, no room for brotherhood across theological lines. And takes his religion very dear to his -con't-

  • is concerned. But him being divine alone should be enough to convince us to do as Mao Yiun did in spreading the dharma to china from further west. Another point would be that you never see buddhist terrorists, surely if we were all buddhist, the sectarian hatred and jihad would stop. Look how poorly the religions are that are based on laws, the Abrahamic ones. Laws are taken metaphorically and that causes sectarian infighting, not so with buddhism, jainism, or hinduism. Booya, convert. -cont-

  • I'll pull an old school debater trick, I'll take his side for a moment: my first point to convince you is that buddhism is arguably the oldest live religion in the world, in that sakymuni took the hindu beliefs and continued them into buddhism. It being so old lends it creedence and adds to its value. Sakymuni may not have been a god, but he was divine, and his words were meant to be taken more literally in some places and figuratively in others. Specifically where the spread of the dharma -cot-

  • @shoshekis I think I'd have to work very hard, indeed, to stoop that gentlemans level. The first wrong speech uttered was when he emphasized the word "idiot" at my person. His wrong acts include posting to my profile comparing me to Mara, which is hyperbole if I've ever heard it. He included my mother and father in a debate which while heated had not yet reached flame war capacity. He has set the bar quite low and not really engaged with anyone. He just talks at people, not with them.

  • JESUS WAS JUST A PALE COPY OF THE BUDDHA. BUDDHA ALONE IS THE LIGHT OF ASIA AND THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. BUDDHA WAS NOT "JUST A MAN", HE WAS HIGHER THAN JESUS & GOD OF ABRAHAM. BUDDHA IS THE SUPREME TATHAGATHA AND ALL THE WORLD MUST BOW DOWN TO THE ONE TRUE SAVIOR SHAKYAMUNI.

  • @MultiPopculture You are not embodying the dharma with you speech of grandiosity.

  • There are too many rude comments on this video. If you follow the dharma as I do please be kind.

  • Emptiness is form, form is emptiness

  • That bicycle ringing is just annoying, without that I love it.

  • Words cannot describe the joy that I feel at this moment

  • "It is easier for one to force a camel through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter into heaven." Christ. If this question is true, then one should give willingly to the poor and without remorse even give ones own shoes on ones feat to the man who has nothing. For a person who does these things will be blessed and brought much peace. But to the man who hordes his goods and money and cares not for his fellow man awaits the pitfall of greed, theifs, liars, cheats and murder.

  • @MrSaturdayNightSpecL

Okay... just listen to the music.

  • What is better, is it better to strike the hand of someone you have a disagreement with, or is it better you shake his hand and invite him to learn and understand the disagreement? If one answers to the latter of these two things in the positive then you have begun to understand how to correctly deal in spiritual matters with your fellow man. When there is confusion make enlightenment, when there is a war make peace, when there is a lie make truth, when there is hate make love. This is best!

  • Do not all prayers go to the same place? Do not all men deep within the depths of their minds, hearts, and souls thirst for a world of peace and common love between all? If these two questions are answered and known to be true then who is it to argue against the truth? One's salvation rely's upon the answer to both of these questions and also to the question of if one accepts the sacrafice made by one man to empty the vessle of evil and sins that man has filled with his own ugliness and lies.

  • I love buddhism:)

  • @ILoveBuddhism so do I

  • It is better to understand various religions through their commonality. There is a bridge between christianity and buddhism. For one Christ died for all being to be save, in Mahayana ideal of bodhisattvahood, the saint will suffer even hell and forego enlightenment for the sake of all beings; isn't that what Christ did. In the buddhism of western paradise of Amitabha buddha, it is necessary to have faith and belief in Amitabha in order to enter the western paradise not as the final end...

  • Knowledge holds many things. One can learn and understand many things. However if one ignores his fellow man and forsakes knowledge itself for just status qou teachings, one will loose the ability to derive true knowledge from teachings. People wish to argue over religion. In that discourse people tend to focus on the negative of their respective sides instead of the positive. So I say this to you all. Budda was a good man, Christ was a good man but Budda did not lay down his life for all!

  • respeto

  • I never met a Buddhist who didn't try to rip me off or screw me over!

  • dont preach hate BUT SHOW THEM LEV 20:13,send them to the family who has lost a gay son to hate, show them what LEV 20:13 truely is let their voices be heard they were silenced before their time, let the victims of gay hatred in uganda be spoken for SHOW them how a mother weeps for her sons death gay/or straight, how a gays man dies just like a straight man,SEEing, thru the heart ZAZEN BROTHER show then thru REFLECTION what their suffering is like help them SEE

  • @ItsMyBlackxs Buddhists are not none theists their are many gods in Buddhism?where are u getting this info it surely isnt from the suttas/sutras.also the Buddha is the higher being and was worshiped as the higher being(do u need suttas/sutras?

  • There is no one buddhism to disagree and agree with. There are so many different schools with so many different views, that it is not possible to say what buddhism is and what it isn't. What school are you guys referring too? And what sect of that school? And what teacher? Or group of teachers? And from what time period?

  • can someone write whole chant for me please?? because i would like to learn it :D

  • Most Buddhists don't like to see it as a religion, but more of a philosophy. Buddhism isn't meant to prove you're right, it's meant to promote peace, compassion and people who do less judging and more enjoying life. There are "realms." Heavens and hells along with earth and animal realms. You ARE the gods in a sense.

  • IM a zen teacher, check out my vids, much peace n love pppppp

  • If you guys like this, then you will certainly love DAVID HYKES :)

  • BUDDHA IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN JESUS. JESUS WAS KILLED ON THE CROSS WHILE BUDDHA LIVES ON. EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES IN JESUS SHOULD KNOW THE BIBLE ENDORSES SLAVERY AND KILLING. YOUR ANCESTORS WERE KILLED BY CHRISTIANS AND YOU WORSHIP HIM. TURN TO BUDDHA FOR TRUE SALVATION. BUDDHA IS THE TEACHER OF GODS AND HUMANS. BUDDHA IS SUPREME LORD FROM LONG BEFORE JESUS.

  • @MultiPopculture please, Buddhism is the only religion I view as peaceful, so don't force it upon people like other religions do. The fact that buddhism accept other religions and don't force itself upon others is one of the reasons I really like this religion, so please, don't ruin it for me.

  • @enest94 WE HAVE NO CHOICE. CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS ARE BASHING BUDDHISM EVERY SINGLE DAY. I COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT RUINING IT FOR YOU. I CARE ABOUT STRENGTHENING THE BUDDHIST MINDSET SO THAT WE CAN DEFEND DHARMA FROM ALL WHO WANT TO HARM IT. BUDDHISTS DO NOT ACCEPT OTHER RELIGIONS, WE DO NOT ACCEPT ISLAM OR JESUS OR THE ANGRY GOD JEOHVAH. WE DO SHARE A BOND WITH HINDUISM WHICH IS ALSO VERY HUMANE AND TOLERANT. HINDUS ADORE THE BUDDHA. IF YOU ARE ON THE SIDE OF BUDDHA, UNITE & DEFEND!!!

  • @MultiPopculture

"And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They toil not, neither do they spin, and yet I say unto you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these...Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself." Gasan said: "Whoever uttered those words I consider an enlightened man."

  • @MultiPopculture "Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me." "And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth." Jesus Christ is not dead. He lives on forever and ever. He has always been, and will always be. He is the alpha and the omega, the first and the last. He humbled himself to death, and broke the barriers of death and rose to life. "All wisdom is from the Lord God" Not a man.

  • @AnotherAppleMacbook Wotan is bigger than Jesus, Jesus was just a regular, mortal, meaningless man

  • look into your hand and see the eye of bhudda smiling back at you smiling back at you smiling back at you

  • Thank you so much for sharing! Appreciate it! =)

  • @11berns If you think so then for you it is, but don't try to "convert" other with it.

  • @11berns 0 NO!!! There is no wizdom in your ideology, only hate en retardness.

The islam is like a child. So young so not knowing about the world. Islam just a big mouth and only want's to distroy the world. Islam do'n want to evolve. Islam is frozen in time and retardness. Islam wil not survive the world for long. The islam is already on it's way to perish out from this world forever.

evolve and learn more about the world or perish with your Islam lie!

Islam is the ideology of lies.

  • NOTHING

  • no idea why i am here

  • someone laughed at me recently, when i said about takin' up a bit of meditation:)

  • thank god im an agnostic

  • @baldandold good one!

  • BUDDHISTS ARE NOT ATHEIST. NOWHERE DOES THE BUDDHA SAY THERE IS NO GOD AND THERE ARE MANY GODS REFERENCED IN BUDDHISM. YOU CAN BE AN ATHEIST AND A BUDDHIST BUT A BUDDHIST IS NOT USUALLY AN ATHEIST AND ATHEISM DOES NOT REPRESENT BUDDHISM ANYWHERE EXCEPT IN AMERICA WHERE FAKE YUPPIE BUDDHISTS PUT ON PRETENSES.

  • @MultiPopculture I interpret the buddhas teachings as in essence, explaining the nonexistence of the soul, and the illusion of qualia. In simple terms, that this life of suffering ends with non-existence and how that should be freeing. In that, there are gods from hindu and other systems, small gods and the like. But no capital G god. This is not true of all sects as you said. But one, be aware that there is shit you've never heard of, and we'll off the same in return. Two, no capslock bro.

  • @Junoncross DON'T TALK NONSENSE. DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT DHAMMAKAYA IS? AND NON EXISTENCE IS NOT THE GOAL OF BUDDHISM -- BEING A BODHISATTVA IS. AND ATHEISTS DO NOT BELIEVE IN ANY GODS, LET ALONE HINDU OR BUDDHIST DEITIES. PLEASE SHUT UP AND LEARN FROM ME INSTEAD OF TRYING TO PASS OFF YOUR FAKE AMERICAN BUDDHIST BS AS WISDOM. NO OFFENSE. METTA

  • @MultiPopculture You having caps lock on makes you look like a moron. Further, I said this is not true of all sects and there may be things ive not heard of that you have, but be aware that there may be things you have not heard of that I have. In that, calm down, turn off your caps lock key and have a discussion. This is no place for argument, we are both teachers and we are both students; we learn from eachother. No one likes a zealot, and i cannot even comprehend a Buddhist zealot.

  • @Junoncross You cannot comprehend because you do not care. How many people have you converted to or brought to Buddhism? None. Because you don't care. Islam is going all out to woo new people as is Xianity. What are Buddhists doing? Nada. BUDDHISTS HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PROMOTE BUDDHA AND DHARMA OR IT WILL DIE. Do you not get it? Oh, I forgot. Its not that you don't get it, its that you don't care. Alas!

  • @MultiPopculture Proselytizing for buddhism is not buddha-like. Buddhism is innocuous for the sake of its ability to be ethical in practice. There is no buddhist marriage, because marriage is a state affair. Only ones I've ever heard of happen in N. America, and most dont get it here. Make Buddhism an evangelical system and you will destroy everything good about it. Siddhartha would rather have seen it end than be perverted. I do care, but I follow the noble 8-fold path, I cannot do as you say.

  • @Junoncross DON'T TEACH ME IDIOT. THE BUDDHIST SUTRAS MAKE IT CLEAR WE MUST EVANGELIZE AND TEACH BUDDHA DHARMA TO THE WORLD. HOW THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU HEARD ABOUT IT IF IT WAS NOT SPREAD ALL OVER THE WORLD BY PROSELYTIZING MONKS? YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE SACRIFICES THESE MONKS MADE SO THAT YOU CAN NOW LIVE IN YOUR FANCY HOUSE AND TALK ABOUT EMPTINESS ALL DAY. BUDDHISM MUST BE PROMOTED SO THAT THE LIGHT OF BUDDHA CAN REACH EVERYONE AND SO THAT FUTURE GENERATIONS CAN APPRECIATE THE DHARMA.

  • @MultiPopculture Again, capslock makes you look like a moron and adds nothing to your argument. What the fuck did I say, there are different sects and styles of Buddhism. There is shit you've never heard of, and shit I've not heard of. Yet, you continue to assume that your type of Buddhism is the only one with merit. You say the goal is to be a Bodhisattva, well fucking act like it. We teach each other, and we offer each other respect, those are the terms under which I'll be lectured to.

  • @Junoncross

:3 If you get angry, he wins.

  • @Junoncross Your language is appalling. The fact that you cannot argue or debate without using cheap gutter level language shows how sick your mind is. You are not a Buddhist and so you have no place in this discussion. You know nothing of Dharma.

  • @MultiPopculture What happened to compassion MP? Does it stop when the person in front of you is not a student of the dharma? Our Buddha is the Buddha of Compassion. He felt empathy for the suffering of this world. I don't think you would act any different if you'd been raised muslim or christian. You'd still be a zealot, you just want something to be upset over. Thats fine with me. And I'm more than happy to not be affiliated with you in any way. And I'll gladly say whatever the fuck i like.

  • @Junoncross Do you know what Right Speech is? Can you not debate without using the F word? Did you grow up hearing your father use it on your mother or did your mother use that word while singing nursery rhymes to you? You are NOT a Buddhist. You have been PWNED here by 2 real Dharma practitioners. Now be silent and reply with an apology if you have an ounce of class. Say you are sorry & that in the future you will try to be more polite towards Buddhist missionaries. Stop embarrassing yourself.

  • @MultiPopculture Do you know what hubris is? You are haughty and righteous. You know you are right and that is the problem. Whether or not you or I are true buddhists or not is not something I'd ever care to debate with one such as you. But you are a poor philosopher and debater. My speech has nothing to do with my point, and you deflect my points against your argument with your points against my person. Its called Ad Hominem, its the sign of a poor argument and works against your -cot'd-

  • @MultiPopculture argument entirely. Now, as for saying fuck, i dont consider that wrong speech. Wrong speech, in my opinion, is lying, or passing a whim off as a truth. You say you know what is right, and how to live by the dharma. But you could be wrong and not know it. I've been speaking with proper candor this entire time, I've said continuously, I may be wrong, these are opinions. You refuse to, and for that, you are kind of a fuckstick and not very buddha-like. -cot'd-

  • @MultiPopculture He said to question everything, and even chastised those who deified him. He was a human being, and capable of flaws and mistakes. You act as though, you are above such things. I've spoken to many monks and even heard the Dalai lama (though I am zazen) speak a few times. No part of any of that experience reminds me of you. Maybe you are part of some kind of a bitch sect of buddhism. umad, multipoopculture?

  • @Junoncross and you stoop to his level ? Amazing.

  • @Junoncross MPC views on Buddhism is correct, mabey the manner it is presented may not be welcomed but the information is correct if you want just ask for the sutras/suttas for this information i think if the sutra verses were posted more then others will see it is the dharma and not just someone sayin it is.its never easy to say the Buddha is TEACHER OF GODS AND HUMANS AND ALL LIVING BEINGS without sounding like you a superiorist.BUT this is what the dharma states both thervadan and mahayana

  • @MultiPopculture

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.

  • @MultiPopculture

But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

  • @Junoncross proselytizing for buddhism IS Buddha-like(the greatest gift to give is the dhamma)the Buddha told us to proselytize in ALL sects thervadan to mahayana do u need the suttas/sutras?the Lord Buddha set out moral codes of marriage in digha nikaya,

  • @Buddhist1986 I apologize, speaking online sometimes lacks inflection or subtext. When I speak of proselytizing, I was speaking in reference to the attitude of popculture in his zealotry. That form of evangelicalism is dangerous. We see the honor killings for apostasy in christian and muslim nations. I welcome the opportunity to give the dharma to other people when I can, but in the US, it is considered rude by the majority to shove religion down peoples throats as Popculture suggests. cotd'

  • @Junoncross i apologize REMORSE,REPENT,REFORM(vinyas,3pureland sutras, lotus sutra, meditation sutra"also refered as repentance sutra"we as Buddhists who have left christianity try to distance ourselves from every aspect of christianty to the point where we have distorted our our teachings and forsaken then just to be "different"i apologize for what i have said,am saying, and will say in future, attitude is dangerous, rude is dangerous, also apostasy killing is bad where does it come from DUET 13:6-18

  • @Junoncross (CONT) i justified as all do 1 SAM 15:1-3,and i accepted into the core of my being as the TRUTH undeniable, and thru my karma what i defended as good and just i lived thru when they bombed a school with a car bomb intended for me.justification?????now all i have is remorse, they hated me for being an infidel, and i hated them for doing evil deeds which i called good when it was done in my religion, cause it is only good when when we do it not u.teach them every chance u get LET THEM SEE.

  • @Buddhist1986 And you are correct about the long discourses. I've read a good deal of them, but not all unfortunately. What I meant, given my own searching for information, is that it seems in the buddhist cultures of the east, and the "western" asian cultures where buddhism of any kind is followed. Marriage is more a civic structure. In the US, weddings are intensely religious most times as a matter of course. But from what I've read, most marriages in, say Thailand or Japan - cotd'

  • @Junoncross (CONT) we must be kind but we must also understand that to help a drug addict is to first tell him that drugs is bad for him.for a drug addict to leave drugs we must show him how it has negativly affected his life and how it has effected other peoples lives.even then he will try to justify his use of drugs even though he truely knows i his heart it is wrong.we tell him what he is doing is wrong not to hurt him but to help him we do it out of compassion & sadly some will not listen:(

  • @Junoncross (CONT)i wish someone had come along and showed me the truth, showed me my ignorance, showed me how it was wrong to kill animals showed me in detail their "being"and how precious truely precious life was now all i have is remorse,i wish i had someone so show me thru reflection why it was wrong to rejoice in the hunting and killing of my enemies now all i have is remorse,i didnt SEE it,even when ur heart sinks and i FELT it i ddint SEE it,

  • @Buddhist1986 are focused on the civic constructs of duty and honor between two people rather than esoteric principles of ancient Judaic law and how their God is involved. I thank you for helping correct me. Again however, I am a Zazen Buddhist, but I do respect and welcome polite (not directed at you) discourse on other sects and even other religions wholesale. In my opinion, I would not want to be a part of a religion that advocated zealous conversion. I want people who want to be here.

  • @Junoncross i want people who want to be here AWSOME,i have no sect and i belong to all sects,(all sects are apart of the ONE Buddhism we just FOCUS on one aspect of the Lord Buddhas teachings in this focus we call it our sect)zen has pureland but ur FOCUS is on meditation pureland FOCUS is to live a purelife follow the precpts and attain enlightenment (thru meditation;) in the next life)thervadan has also has pureland and zazen.FOCUS not sect is what i say

  • @Buddhist1986 Thank you so much for your encouragement dear friend in the Dharma. Western Buddhists have weakened Buddhism and we MUST STRENGTHEN IT. We will never use violence (unless in self-defense) but we will CORRECT the MINDSET. WE MUST UNITE, WE MUST PROMOTE THE DHARMA, WE MUST BRING THE YOUTH TO THE DHARMA, WE MUST SHOW THE WHOLE WORLD THERE *IS* A BETTER WAY AND THAT IS THE TRIRATNA. WE MUST DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO PROMOTE DHARMA TO ALL CORNERS OF THE GLOBE ABOVE ALL OTHER RELIGIONS!

  • @MultiPopculture

Buddhist do not force conversion, forcing someone to turn from their beliefs is un-Buddha. You can mention how the Monks went out and teach and yes, they did spread out and teach, but they did not forcibly try to convert people. They simply taught.

  • @MultiPopculture Wrong...

  • @MultiPopculture THANK YOU,please explain the teachings to them and help them understand most of the stuff they read on western buddhist websites goes against Buddhist teachings simply reading Buddhist suttas/sutras can easily clear this up.post texts to back up ur opinions also it will help them out.

“Therefore, be ye lamps unto yourselves, be a refuge to yourselves. Hold fast to Truth as a lamp; hold fast to the truth as a refuge. Look not for a refuge in anyone beside yourselves. And those, who shall be a lamp unto themselves, shall betake themselves to no external refuge, but holding fast to the Truth as their lamp, and holding fast to the Truth as their refuge, they shall reach the topmost height.”

  • @dundu24c

    What do you mean?

  • While there is almighty God..who created you and me, Buddha and the whole universe...

    Why do you worship Idols?

Why do you worship a dead person?

Do you want proofs about the existence of God almighty?

I'm here for an intelligent discussion.

    Let's SEEK THE TRUTH !!!

  • Historical criticism has proved that the original teachings of Buddha can never be known. There were differences of opinion and conflicting memories in the council. Opinion of Kayshapa and Ananda who were prominent disciples of Buddha were given preference. A hundred years later, a second council at Vesali was held. Only after 400 years, after the death of Buddha were his teachings and doctrines written down. Little attention was paid regarding its authenticity, genuineness and purity.

  • "The SOUND OF PRAYER": Much Beta Tan meaningless words /chatter. Bla Bla Bla .Ring your Bell & Shutup...

  • Buddhism is not a religion; it's a spiritual discipline

  • @TheUndertakerSaysRIP It's Love

  • Feel the love, this is the grace plain and simple: watch?v=g1DjUtQLMko

  • Buddhist people are so peacefull. You never hear something bad about them on the news or tv, only interesting things. I think there's a lot of truth in their lifestyle.

  • @MrsChaosBitch. There have been a terrorist group that called themselves buddhists, i forgot the name of the group but they blew up several buddhist relics. Talk about hypocrites. The primary goal of buddhism is not to do any evil. But still there are many different Buddhist cultures and it is possible terrorists will abuse Buddhism just like other religions are abused by terrorists. Also keep in mind that buddhist monks have invented martial arts.

  • @mitsukai89 Yeah those terrorist groups are abusing relegions or buddhism for their own needs. That's wrong I know. And martial arts, they only use it when they realy need to. It's complicated. But I just think that if you know your relegion is not perfect, don't bug other people because of their way of living. Everybody makes mistakes, and buddhist too. all people do. It's just wrong to point everybody with a finger telling them they're doing wrong stuff, but they can't commit their own mistakes

  • If you enjoy experiencing this kind of deeply spiritual chanting check out "Pure Sounds" by the Gyuto Monks of Tibet. "Pure Sounds" is a Grammy Nominated album of recordings of the Gyuto Monks of Tibet, available from New Earth Records.

  • As the Atheist that I am, and a Buddhist, and I liked this chant.

  • That's why Buddhists do not preach & try to convert, only explain if an explanation is sought

  • @lozzabunny84. Buddhist evangalists do exist.

  • Buddhism is a belief system which is tolerant of ALL beliefs or religions.Buddhism agrees with the moral teachings of other religions but goes further by providing a long term purpose within our existence, through wisdom & true understanding.Buddhism is very tolerant & not concerned with labels like 'Christian', 'Moslem', 'Hindu' or 'Buddhist' that's why there have never been any wars fought in the name of Buddhism.

  • I never see people buddhist attack one church or one mosque mr. muslim.

  • Islam is the ideal religion ..

  • @MyPortsmouth

    Why?

  • Shingón :)

  • Of all religions, I'm most fond of Buddhism. Although I'm secular and have a particular opposition to religions as a whole, and I know that no man and no religion are fully innocent Buddhism has a warm place in my heart. Unlike so-called "cultured" religions, Buddhism was generous to all living forms, from small insects to giant elephants, from orphans to widows to kings. Never have Buddhists killed for Buddha, and never have Buddhists went witch-hunting after every poor human being.

  • what is this saying?

  • can someone tell me how long it takes to activate the pieal land and how is it done, which chants and methods? i never meditated before in my life and i am not budhidt or hindu i am in fact not religious, a sceptical atheist but very intrigued by what i have heard about meditation experiences and connecting to the energies of the universe!

  • @bluffr22 Find a teacher. Shingon is an esoteric school, like Vajrayana in Tibet & India. The teachings are hidden because Buddhism values direct experiential transmission from teacher to student, and because the practises can be harmful or misunderstood without the guidance of a skilled spiritual teacher. That said the reason the vajra (thunderbolt) is a symbol of esoteric Buddhism is because it is widely regarded to be a very direct path to the experience of enlightenment.

  • So many ignorants on net ...too bad!

  • I have a logical question. Why GOD does not make this life a perfect & infinite life.? does GOD unable to do it .? He supposdly able to do anything. The only logical answer that God made this life purposely imperfect to examine humans and this life for sure is not the end.

  • @brd1243 theres no one called god, if theres a god then this world shudnt be so unbalanced.. its all our thoughts and actions that decide our next birth and of course this life is not the end

  • @brd1243 I'm afraid you are very misinformed about buddhism. In buddhism, there is no god at all, nor is there belief of a soul. In buddhism, everything is relative and interdependant. I suggest that before you slate a religion, you look upp on it first.

  • @1TheTain

I would prefer to say, that buddhists don´t see gods as a power, that stands above all being. They have their own room of existence and are part of all being.

I hope I could express what I wanted to say.

    Peace, Power and Equality.

  • @1TheTain so thats why liberals eat it up. now I know, and knowing is blahblahblah.

  • @1TheTain

wrong, the budda taught that u live by ur actions and are reborn many times, each time a reflection on u.

but being bad and becoming a beatle means u redeem yourself away from human imperfection, sentience.

people are only bad when they see so much evil they think, "may aswell act like them" so they become what they hate, being hypocrites cannot see themselves acurately, same as christian belief in hell, not punishment but refusal to accept heaven or god/criticism or repent/change.

  • @tpvalley I do not understand why I am wrong, for what you have written has nothing to do with what I have written. Buddhism does reject god and there is no sooul. In buddhism it is merely the continuation of the same conciousness that continues, not a soul. The state in which the conciounsess arises in the next life depends on the state of the last thoughts of the old life, rather than actions. This continuation ceases only when one reaches enlightenment.

  • @1TheTain

    I knew u would ask this;

what causes the universe to reincarnate or conciousness ?

an energy, this is the equivilent of god, to suit this culture, jesus travelled to buddist lands before he returned to bethlehem etc, he told buddists about the universe, he explained the universe to christians as god.

it is not whether or not god exists but his definition.

  • @1TheTain actually their are many gods in Buddhism so we are not atheists(atheists dont beleive in the existance of gods much less many gods that are in Buddhism)the Lord Buddha is the teacher of gods and all living beings, the Buddha never said their was no soul (the word didnt exists inhis lauguege)also generally the contiunueation of an existing beings is generally called a soul(seems like a word game for the meaning of the same thing)

  • @1TheTain

Buddha denied their theory of the soul=reincarnation, eternal ego/self.

But the buddha did not deny the soul(what goes on after death).

you keep telling people that the buddha didnt believe in a soul(life after death)instead of explaining no eternal self/ego to them they are going to side with the annihilation theory of the soul which will only cause more people spread lies about buddhism .

he simply rejected their idea of a soul..which they believed was the ego.

  • The universe is spinning. The flowers are growing. The world is changing. Lives are begining. Lives are ending. The waves are crashing. The oceans are building. Storms are coming. Leaves are falling. Tree's are bending and bowing. Children are playing. The sky is crying. All things are vibrating. All people are struggling. All peace to all beings. Let us not forget that we have free will and we must help create peace amongst all things of this world or we will ruin and destroy it.

  • @MrSaturdayNightSpecL We can never destroy the world, only ourselves.

  • @MrSaturdayNightSpecL

What is the meaning of the first part of your commentary?

  • @meusisto Simple in some respects and difficult and cumbersome in others. As in all things in this existance nothing is ever completely simple nor is anything completely difficult. The meaning of my words will be different for different people with different minds and different thoughts. I think the most important question here that you should ask is. What does his commentary mean to me? To me, what it means is that all things are in order and in chaos even if we disapear they will continue

  • Going beyond religions, which if said are human created, there is something far more vast. There is the miracle of this life that we have.

Imagine 150 years from now. All the people living today will be gone. All the fears we felt, all the doubts we had about ourselves, all the creativity we felt. All gone. It is sacred now, all of us humans who are here, together, on this planet at this moment of time. It really is brilliant. The way I see it, we are all on the same team together. We!

  • It is better to remain silent and let people think you're a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt...It's a shame you haters can't understand these simple words.

  • @Obeijin -Your quote was from Mark Twain, not the Buddha just FYI.

"We are formed and molded by our thoughts. Those whose minds are shaped by selfless thoughts give joy when they speak or act. Joy follows them like a shadow that never leaves them."

Siddhartha Gautama, also known as "the Buddha"

  • @oldergods I looked it up and also came up with Abraham Lincoln ! I wasn't giving the Buddha credit for it, but an unknown Chinese many thousand ago...those who say don't know, those who know don't say...

  • @oldergods Does it matter who says it if it's true ?
