Actually, you only need to pop out the rearmost pin to take the gun apart. After pulling the hopup forward, the whole bottom section swings down due to the frontmost pin and can easily be pulled off the pin due to the slots cut into the area around the pin.

The safety on the TSD's UMP 45 is that even though you have it on the safe position, it still fires for some odd reason, but its just a very small problem, so basically no worries. I still suggest the DE(Double Eagle) Ump M89 than the TSD SD 45.

The review is wrong about the dissasembly, you only need to remove the back pin, and pull the hop up forward. Once the hop-up is forward, swing the lower reciever and pull forward, the lower reciever will pop off, then take off the bottom plate for the motor, and the gearbox should slide right out. I DO own the gun, and have skirmished with it many times, have had no problems, and just finished installing metal bushings and reshiming it(sounded like crap b4) if you like the UPM .45, get it!

it depends on the quality of the gun, but usually the motor is fine but the battery may go after awhile. yes, you do have to load a battery- in this one you stick it in the space that is revealed when you fold the stock. and connect the wires obviously. it should last for awhile between chargings, depends on the amout of miliamps the battery is. good luck and have fun!

well, so It only has safe marking, so you don't know(when you first get it) Wether you're in safe or auto? And it's plastic, safetly problems, and it came broken...Sounds like a GREAT gun.
