Why bother with a bathtub and trying to view it only from the top? Why not use a large aquarium and fill it with distilled water? Won't have to waterproof it, and can run a body. Then try different wing combos if you want more or less wheelies.
true, ive never thought of it that way, though distilled water still has a very small amount of conductive elements. one thing ive seen is computers made in a fish tank full of mineral oil. that would also work. good suggestion tho, ill have to try that
i got out the chip and wrapped hot glue everywhere and blocked the little holes and put the body and headlights on the car driving underwater. its fine its 1 and a half years old and theres no tape
Thanks for the recognition. I did use mine underwater, after I added more layers, but you really went off the hook with plastic wrap. Yeah, my antenna ripped off from the water.
yeah if u have a soldering iron, u can re attach the antenna. radioshack sells one called cold heat, which is rather easy to use, and its hard to get burned using it
as long as you pul the battery out at the first signs of weird activitiy (wheels turning by themselves, steering locked in left or right without being touched. simply pry the green battery out with a flat headed screwdriver. i know this works cause ive done it with larger ones (off road ones) and ive saved them before they fry
my old micro rc racer can go in water but is not water proof. it still moves. (the car is old and sucks!)

yeah, i dont even think you would need to put the plastic wrap on these circuit boards, they already appear to be coated with something

Yeah mine works, but 2 days ago, I tried to lubricate the gears, and it got into the motor, now the motor is screwed.
