Believe it or not, the bassist in this incarnation of the Rentals was once an original member, who didn't get any credit on the 1st LP from 1995. Her name: Rachel Haden.
Her identical triplet sister, Petra, who both sang and played viola, was a Rental from 1995-99. Her original singing role was a harmony female vocalist, but on the 2nd LP she replaced Cherielynn Westrich as the main female lead singer.
The violist currently with the Rentals, as of 2006, is Lauren Chipman.
