Cid Raines was a Cocoon L'Cie and after the Battle with Cid Raines then Cid turned into Crystal and it was teleported back by Dysley and Made Cid into a puppet then he created Chaos in Eden and Cid Raines got shot on his head.

Interesting. Jihl's voice actress in English is Paula Tiso-- Lulu in FFX -- who is of course HAWT. In Japanese she's Princess Ashe (who was definitely better in Japanese FFXII than in English.)

Because he wasn't the same kind of l'cie as the party,the Sanctum Fal Cie basically recruited him to protect itself from Fang and Vanille who were Pulse l'cie ,Gran Pulse and Cocoon are enemies so I'm guessing that's why :)
