The part where they're eating hot dogs and making disgusted faces, remember that this was the 1900's. Most butchers would stuff their sausages with rotting meat, using borax to cover up the smell and red carpet dye to deal with the discoloration. Rotting, toxic frankferturs, Yum!

The government eventually put a stop to such practices, thank God. But I stiil don't trust New York hot dogs!
