  • Hi, may if ask how I can tell the difference between the gender of dwar puffers? I have 2 but one is Extremely skinny:(

  • @Videotime1030

You may want to treat the skinny one for parasites.

The males have a vertical line from their tale fin to their chin on their belly

  • where can you find smalls snails like that? i can only find large ones thanks

  • @soldier4God01

    Hi,

They are pond snails. THey reproduce like crazy. THere are a number of ways to get them. One way is to ask your local fish store to put a couple in next time you get some fish or plants. THey consider them a pest so they shouldn't charge you for them. Or you can buy some online for cheap. I got mine on Ebay. Bought like 10 of them and now I have 100s. I let them grow in other tanks then put them in with the puffer.

  • :)

  • DID YOU GUY HERE THE BACKGROUND NOISE SOUND LIKE SOMEONE WAS WATCHING PORN .

  • @stingwirezification

lol Yeah I know it was a really weird foreign movie and that was some sick rape thing I think. I actually stopped watching it but left it on while filming this vid. sorry about that. ; )

  • i thought dwarf puffers were very aggressive ? i guess not? what other fish do you have in your tank... does the puffer every bother them...? and how big do they actually get if you know?

  • @isthatkem

I have been told and read also that they are aggressive little fin biters. I have found that the two I have are not aggressive. Occassionally they do nip at fins but nothing excessive and I have not seen them cause any real harm. I think the key is to have a large tank with a lot of distractions. They seem to be fascinated by the plants (mostly plastic and silk) in my tank. I really like them. 1.25" at most.
