at 1:57 when the title reads circa 1950 it should correctly be 1960- since the color film & the flowerdy trunks & the Fiberglass board shape could not all have ever been transportedbackwards into TIME to 1950...like W.T.F. over ?

Re Lance Carson .. I tend to think that Bruce Brown put it best in his immortal surf-flick "The Endless Summer" : "When Lance goes out at Malibu, he really gives the place a going-over". Beautiful footage of one of the all-time long-boarding greats. Many thanks !!
