Its amazing to see that Ward Kimball can direct great Disney shorts like "It's Tough to be a Bird" "Toot Whistle Plunk and Boom" and "Adventures in Melody"
I still live only a mile from his home. Been over there a few times when he was alive, great people that loved showing us around. Absolutely loved trains. Growing up in the area, everyone knew of their home with the narrow gauge steam trains, turn table, water tank and depot. Very cool.
I would like to see all the shorts that Ward directed, including "It's Tough to be a Bird" and "Dad, Can I Borrow the Car?". Anyway, I love his animation, particularly his work in "Alice in Wonderland" and "Pinocchio". The toys are pretty awesome too. They knew how to make toys back in the early 20th century. It's a shame that there's no craft in toymaking anymore, or in anything anymore. It's all mass produced.

7:51 - John Lasseter's name comes up in the credits. I had no idea he was involved in this show.

A good collector never stops collecting, is what I'd say to Ward.
