I Take no credit of the OST raw form practiced in this Orchestral Remix.
Anyway, it worked, becoming the final warning that the song is finally finished, and that the tuba and glockenspiel will give one last arrangement before it is all completed.
Thats when it hit meI could sneak in a soft set of pizzicato sting plucks of the catchy tune that is heard in Star Fox 64, and Star Fox Assault-you know, that simple set of notes you can hear when you clear a level, or watch the creditsYoull know what mean when you hear it. Perhaps Star Fox Assault doesnt countperhaps it does
Listen carefully to the flute: it will only play a short variation twice, yet it will be just enough to smash into the Star Fox 64s and Star Fox 2s themes. Its short, sweet, and not overcrowding.
It was difficult trying to find a soft-side part of the games music since most of it was fast or just couldnt compliment the other melodies.
The glockenspiel: that music box-like tune I chose to represent this theme because of its innocence, cuteness, warm feeling, and the slight sadness of not being released. Its soft and hides in the back, shy of those who dont recognize it, yet glowing and thankful for those who do. Wish it could have been Miyus Theme.
After a little homework and experimenting, I was able to obtain fascinating results that mixing it with the Star Fox 64 Options/Rankings theme turned out to be so perfect!
Since this Star Fox 2 theme went through a low profile journey in rarely getting out there into this world, I decided to arrange it with something unique
Thats right! That melody comes from Star Fox 2s High Score/Rankings theme! Although Star Fox 2 was unreleased, I just had to see if they had some kind of soft-side just like Star Fox 64 and there it was. When I learned of its existence, I closed my eyes and imagined what would go great with it
I decided to use the tuba for this theme because of its rich, bold, and epic leading sound, letting you feel its courageous yet soft and warm presence.
Once you hear a break from the tuba arrangement, youll soon notice it return with another melody addition
Sounds so familiar
No way! That musicbox-like melody is from Starfox 2!
As you can hear, the first memorable arrangement of notes that are recognized come from Star Fox 64s Options/Rankings theme. I remember back in the day, leaving the game on at night, letting this theme play over and over until I would have fallen asleep, daydreamed, or reflected on things that happened in my life. It was simply one of my favorites and surely displayed a kind of soft side of the game.
Before you begin listening, it is recommended to adjust your speakers accordingly to the best quality you can squeeze out. It will also help if you are in a place where is not noisy and will make you focus on what will be explained. Turn it up and enjoy!
Now, let us start with the introduction. I decided to select somewhat of a military-like ensemble to get into the mood. Its soft, yet gets you into a mood of feeling like a soldier. Quite decent, and compliments the strings-Kinda lifts you abit

Once the marching drums come to a stop, you know that the song is gracefully coming to an end; the tuba and glockenspiel giving their last few solos.
Somehow I just need to add one more just one more arrangement before it died. Perhaps a tease

Nevertheless, it worked and I simply enjoyed the results; giving it the sound of a flute for its legendary and catchy arrangement.
At first I thought about letting it become a strings background but I wanted it to be different and stand out.

Once you begin to hear bells and additional strings, the mix is finishing up with the addition of yet another melody snippet:
