i always felt so sorry for the oldest daughter at the part where shes trying to get out of the house and break a window with her chair. the look on her face says it all. the newer horror movies today are crap and are nothing compared to the excellant 70s and 80s horror movies. a truly terrifying creepy film!!

In the t.v. version I saw in Australia years ago Burt Young not only cops a bullet in the back but gets his head blown off, it explodes like a ripe melon. I have only ever seen this scene once, why was it deleted from the VHS and DVD releases?
