Oh dear. The "FA Cup" reference relates to Mr Rumbold, who had very sticky-out ears. His head therefore looked a bit like a traditional football (or "soccer" if you're of the American persuasion) trophy - the ears resembling the handles of the cup. The person below who is going on about bra cup sizes is talking bollocks I'm afraid.
@britcomic In 'Last of the Summer Wine' Entwhistle commented that the Golf Captain (Trevor Bannister) was 'Like little Hancock' he also did this after your comment!
totally. being an American, it's usually the unfamiliar slang or references that confuse me.
(by the way, i just want to say thank you for correcting me with grace. I've found that many youtube users jump at the opportunity to correct someone so they can curse or talk down to them.)
Priceless and spot on. LOL.

This is brilliant. I like AYBS but yes, it's all spot on. It always really bugged me that Mr. Lucas seemed to be doing a bad Tony Hancock impression.

I have to ask where can you get a copy of a full episode of "end of part one?"

Unfortunately I don't think you can. There doesn't seem to have been a DVD release.

To be honest there are other sketches where I have never been able to catch all the words.

Tony Hancock - famous British TV comedy actor of the 1960's. Jokes 'concerning FA cups'.
Eg. talking about football prize cups but meaning bra cups.

you're a life saver. I've worn my ears out trying to figure all that out.
ps thank you for uploading a good quality version.

This is awesome!
two questions though:
'who try and talk like Henkle?', who is that?
also, 'jokes concerning....' what?
